Didi did the same thing she has done every night for as long as she can remember. She got out of bed, put on her cashmere robe with the matching worn out slippers and made her way downstairs.

She rounded the corner of the kitchen, awaiting the aroma of pudding as it greeted her so many times before.

But...

There was no aroma. There was no Stu. Night after night for weeks, Didi made her way down stairs at the same time, in the same clothes, in the same tired fashion.

Hoping.

Preying.

That when she did round that kitchen corner, she would see her beloved husband. Her anchor. Her everything and everything.

But awaiting her was the ticking of the clock in an otherwise empty kitchen. A lifeless, empty kitchen with nothing to it but memories of a life well shared between two.

She sunk to the floor and wept. There would be no more pudding. There would be no more Stu.

Didi would try again tomorrow. And the night after that. And every night to follow.

Finished up my 100% of Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, and then when on to 100% Extra Mode in practically one sitting. I tried out Knightmare mode, but I'll come back to it some other time. Started Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, one of my favorite games from my childhood, and the only game I've 100%'d multiple times. After I finish that up, I'm gonna go on to Squeak Squad, Super Ultra, and maybe Mass Attack. I'd like to play Canvas Curse, but controlling the touch screen with the mouse is kind of difficult.

Dragon Quest 7. I've been playing this almost non stop. I was even playing it at work (I work a night shift job). I played more when I got home. Why is this game so fucking good?

The DLC are all excellent, and Fury mode is actually easier than Chaos because it has the easy mode blocking from Legend.

Not that I'm saying you shouldn't try Fury mode out, it is still a blast.

I just bought a 3DS and, since I never had a DS growing up I had a PSP I missed out on every good game for it.

Animal Crossing Wild World or New Leaf you won't regret either but you will become addicted, just DO IT.

I could see that becoming an addiction. Animal Crossing (GCN) is one of my top favourite games of all time.

Unfortunately, it's little things about the new ones that bug me. The scrolling earth map, rather than plots of land, doesn't sit well with me. Or the lack of NES games (which I understand as the invention of the Virtual Console is a thing now).

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon. Get Blue Rescue Team and Explorers of Sky. Skip Time and Darkness, they're just Sky but worse. Play Blue first, Sky makes a lot of improvements and it would hard to go back if you play it first.

Dragon Quest VII. Ninety hours in, only one island left to go to from the ruins. I really love the game, and while I want to keep taking my time, I also want to finish it by Friday when Yo-kai Watch 2 comes out. I already had to put Shin Megami Tensei IV Apocalypse on the backburner.

For DS, a couple of my favorites are Mega Man Star Force 3, Pokemon Black 2/White 2, The World Ends With You, Rune Factory 3, and Inazuma Eleven 2. Mario Kart DS I also want to mention as my favorite Mario Kart title.

Lack of NES is sad but I enjoy interacting with villagers more than anything. I've never owned a GameCube and I kinda want one just to play the original because Wild World is my personal favorite. New Leaf is good but I don't like all the responsibility and going to the island to grind for bells kinda sucked up my interacting with villagers instead in New Leaf.

Inb4 emulate my pc is dead so I might get a wii at some point because I missed out on that also.

If you do look into Inazuma Eleven 2, note that the English version was only released in Europe. So you'd have to import it if you buy it.

Pretty much all the games you've got already are fantastic, though if you're just getting into AA make sure not to just jump into T&T which is the third entry. Look into Last Window also, the Hotel Dusk sequel, though it's a bit pricey now since it was only localized for Europe.

The first game is just okay, the main thing that carried it for me was the charm it had in the setting and atmosphere. The gameplay itself was okay, but other Level-5 multimedia series like Inazuma Eleven and LBX captured me with theirs more.

If you want to play the games, you should just get YW2 when it comes out, since it pretty much retcons the first game right off the bat and improves and expands on the first one in nearly every way. It's doing a Pokemon two version thing for the same reason as Pokemon, a slight story difference in each and several exclusive Yo-kai to befriend.

Metal Gear Solid PSX version playing through this version really makes me appreciate how they manage to make a game like this 98. I can also see how fans can look down on twin snakes for changing on how the have look sounds and plays.

Basically that's what it's like, yeah. YW2's got more of a big main story involving some feuding Yo-kai factions and the origins of the Watch, but the whole Yo-kai neighborhood watch sort of stuff is still definitely in the sidequests.
