What games do they currently have that you can get for free?

That's pretty bitchin' if they do it with a lot of games

Yeah well, they don't. Out of my 300-ish Steam games, the only ones that qualified were Saints Row 2 and VVVVV

17 GOG Connect titles, including: Hotline Miami, X Rebirth, Anno 1404, Dex, Shadow Warrior (2013), The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut*, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, etc.

Eligible until Sunday, October 2, 9:59 PM UTC.

*Redeeming The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut will also add all of its predecessors; Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition includes the classic Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga. Additionally Shadow Warrior comes with the DX11 version.

>wanting to play games without Steam

what about my cheevos though

>have half those games
>link account
>only gives Hotline Miami

Okay, this shit is gay and I don't feel like understanding it.

>le steam is drm maymay

kek

Never mind, it's slowly adding more as it wire taps my Steam account.

I check pretty frequently but I never get shit. GOG pls.

Wait what?
They FINALLY added some more games to that?

I can only get two games from the new lineup, so my gog library still pales in comparison to my steam library, but it's nice to know that they haven;t completely forgotten about one of the best things they've ever done.

Profile public?

Literally how is steam drm
You download tje game and play it

Steam can act as DRM and it does for most games, though some games on Steam actually are DRM-free, with Steam just acting as the download client.

>Steam drm is awful because it requires me to pay money

Yeah this i have many steam installed games that can be started by running the executable instead of through steam.

>DRM free
But I already play DRM free games on Steam.

What makes the GOG client so special?

It's probably for old ass games/dos

Actually it's a select few games now, one of them even being the new Shadow Warrior so not just old ones.

>Link an account with like 2k games
>Only get 11 games on Connect

Except you don't. A lot of games require Steam to be active otherwise you can't play it. That's basically what DRM is.

Why isn't TW3 one of the first available?

>literal WHO games
Nice

You can play offline with GOG and if Steam ever goes down.

Valve has stated that in the unlikely scenario where Steam goes down they have backups for people to download the games they own

Yeah no.

Games are only redeemable on Connect temporarily. You might have missed the previous ones.

That's fucking queer. Well I got Hotline Miami I guess.

You can set it to public, link the games, then set it back.

Wow they let you connect X: Rebirth but only if you have only the base game? What's the point? The game is only playable with the DLC but the complete edition is not eligible. Yay for Van Helsing I guess.

It would be really gay if the reason I'm not getting Anno 1404 because it's Dawn of Discovery in my library.

gog.com/connect

What's the point?

>Hotline Miami
>Olli Olli
>X: Gold

Wow it's fucking nothing.

It's free, you lose nothing by doing it.

I would have to make a GOG account.
And even if I did, it's still a waste of time.

I already have these games. On a client I actually use.

That's not free enough.
First you should get a backdoor free hardware like
puri.sm/posts/intel-me-less-petition-goal-met-early/
raptorengineering.com/TALOS/prerelease.php
second a free OS
then games

Project Zomboid does this too. My brother owns it and through family share I downloaded it and we played Multiplayer together.

Gabe will be dead soon, have fun with whatever happens next bro.

Looking like this is the case. Every game transferred over except this one. I'm not sure what's gayer. Ubisoft for listing them as two different games or CDP for not anticipating this.

Except nobody can ever source that statement.

Sure, it's called torrenting

I already get all my DRM-free games for free.

Steam isn't, Steamworks is.

Got cossacks anthology, hotline miami, and the AI war(only the base game so meh).

Happy about cossacks at least.

every game that doesn't have steamworks

>Except nobody can ever source that statement
you mean everytime it's been asked about and sourced and just ignored because shitposting about steam is easier than just admitting you're wrong?

yea sure man it's never been sourced le xd

What where those previously redeemable games?

This is the first set of games. Every single thing in this thread was made up or assumed except

except you're wrong, they've had 2 other sets before

Thanks for the heads up, user. I had been adding stuff on GoG Connect until it fell off the face of the Earth for a month or two, glad to see it's back even though I never buy anything from GoG or download anything from GoG I still obsessively scoop up the free games and GoG copies of my Steam games.

no steam no thanks

You've been living under a rock, haven't you?
web.archive.org/web/20160601135044/https://www.gog.com/connect

Yeah, sort of. I was out of the country for some time.

Ah well, guess I just missed out on the UT stuff, Shadowrun Returns, first M&B and Xenonauts for GoG.

shadow warrior is free on gog

I rather own a license than an easily pirateable .exe.

Yup. Hotline Miami and Shadow Warrior (2013) this time around.

The greatest trick slavs ever pulled was making you pay for pirated games.

anyone by chance have an extra copy of hotline miami?
