What is the best 3DS Zelda games

I guess if you play Zelda for the dungeons then yeah, OoT3D is better. I prefer having fun though.

What specific things did you dislike? For me, I didn't care too much since they left in all the specific sequence breaks I wanted.

MM3D has some minor flaws to it, but it's just as good as the original due to a lot of the new features.

they made the game easier and more casual in general, and added a lot of hand-holding

I liked triforce heroes, but mainly because I've been dying for co-op zelda with online. It definitely could've been better, but when I get in a group that works well together it's fun as fuck

those are bad new features, not good ones, which is what I was asking for.

I can't believe they made Zora swimming worse. The original was one of the best swimming mechanics in any video game.

My favorite game is Majora's Mask, I consider myself a huge Zeldafag.

Here are changes that are great:

>Fishing holes
>Gyorg battle
>Graphical update
>Improved Bomber's Notebook
>Gyro controls
>Less pausing thanks to screen menu
>Camera controls on New 3DS

Changes that bothered me but not too badly:
>Moon's face looks weird
>Bomber's notebook is a little too helpful if you know what you're doing
>Getting into the stock pot inn is more complicated for seemingly no reason
>Adding giant eyeballs to all the bosses because...?

Changes I hated:
>Changing the location of the Stone Mask
>New Zora swimming
>Zora mini-dungeon on the moon is fucking awful

they even out, honestly. I still prefer the original but MM3D is a great starting point.

Considering the alternative is mashing the same button combination like six times in a row and watching a repetitive cutscene, which requires absolutely no skill other than the ability to put up with a mundane chore, I think I'm okay with being a casual.

I thought jumping to exact hours coupled with the save system basically ruined the whole premise of the game. They break the abstraction that you're looking at the passage of time and boil everything down to events that you just skip to. It eliminated any need to actually manage time.

The entirety of the Kafei sidequest is based around waiting around for specific times of the day, this just speeds the process up. Plus other sidequests like the bomb mask, dancer mask, and mail sidequests all require specific times of day.

They didn't remove it, you can still do it as many times as you want. You just get the bombers notebook instantly without having to do it again.

It just lets you access the handful of existing times without having to spam the song of double time a few times. No real difference besides not watching a short cutscene a few extra times.

The Bomber's Notebook is a great example actually. It's not hard to get, but it illustrates how you can use looping time to your advantage. Then the 3D port ruins that by giving it to you for no reason.
