Nice shit taste you got there. Looks like a fun take on a 50's old timey cartoon character to me and something that's actually never been attempted in this sort of genre unlike the 40 other animals wearing clothes and walking upright banjo clone games out there.

Yeah, let's conveniently disregard the fact that he's also wearing clothes and walking upright in a game where he can spin attack, fly, go fast, illuminate a dark area by carrying a source of light, traverse platforms over lava and shoot. Completely unlike others in its genre.
I like how it looks, I just can't stand his stupid nose, it's like Egghead Extreme.

I actually think this game looks fun and cute and was excited about it when I first heard about it here and didn't really get why people were shitting on it.
Its obviously needs quite a bit of improvement, but its on Kickstarter precisely because its an unfinished product. I'm a sucker for games that have characters that run on all fours and think furry characters are cute.

Though it does appear that the devs are a bit shady; there are things in-game that look like straight rip offs of what we've seen of Yooka Laylee, and they have yet to provide proof that Grant Kirkhope ever involved himself in the project.
However, Grant Kirkhope also advertised the Kickstarter on his Twitter, and I can't imagine he would advertise it if there was some kind of malicious stuff going on in the background.

I think the game looks cute and want it to succeed.
