Armour is irrelevant most of the time, wear it for fashion purposes. The difference in damage absorption changes the outcome of a fight maybe 1 in every 100 matches

Just put something in every slot, the difference between shit you wear at 10 vit and 50 vit full havels with ring of steel protection is like 20% damage reduction and maybe once in a blue you'll hyperarmor through a ugs dick swinging contest at a very specific breakpoint but it's not worth the investment at all

It won't matter what you wear, you will be 1 vr 3 and due to crap online, they will be floating everywhere and lag stab you across the map and then send you insulting mail.

If you invade you will be killed in 3v1.
You won't get invaded unless you have atleast two phantoms with you.
If you have two phantoms with you it doesn't matter what you do, you will kill the invader no matter how bad you and your summons are.
If you try to duel you will most likely get shat on because that's not a parrying shield.

Why did they pick the covenant area as a PVP hotspot anyway? Seems like the most retarded spot to pick. Every other souls game picks some out of the way place for it.

The covenant gets disabled after you beat the area boss anyway, most people won't have to deal with them and even then you won't see any invaders unless you're summoning phantoms.

Yes it does, you can still invade through it after you beat the area boss but you can't get invaded by the covenant afterwards.

Let me just save you shitters the trouble:

Drop the Pontiff Sword, farm the Carthus Curved Sword. Put a refined infusion in it. Grab caestus and make it blessed, keep it on your left hand to parry. Keep your Sword 2h at all times except during parry attempts.

Go to rosaria and respec so your points are at least:
35+ Vig, 40 END, 27 STR, and 40 DEX

Your rings should be Favor, Life, and Hornet for the bare minimum

Your armor doesn't matter, but may as well wear whatever is best till 69.9%
Enjoy R1 spams and remember to parry spam everyone except 2H ultra users. Remember, NEVER attack first, play as passively as possible and punish. Always use 2 R1s and roll. You can roll spam away and let regen from blessed caestus and a sun princess ring heal you up after every hit you take.

There, now you are a certified DS3 Cancer PvPer.
