As someone who hates the series along with all the scum-sucking filth who praise it like the father figure they never had, I agree.

Yet it wouldn't have any impact if OoT didn't exist.
The two games are the perfect complement to one another.

Why do you hate a game? Is your life that sad?

No, it's alright. It's only sad when a relative dies or something like that happens.

>Yet it wouldn't have any impact if OoT didn't exist.
What exactly are you basing this on?

The answer is he has autism

It took me 10 years to realize Majora is a much better game than Overrated of Time

shota link is cute

No, I do not.

The use of the same engine, same gameplay and same models but with more melancholy themes is the entire basis of MM's atmosphere.

What if the dead relative was scum-sucking filth who praised the Zelda series?

what? If it existed without oot it wouldnt matter if it was the same engine and models and gameplay. that doesn't explain your statement.

It's actually one of the worst. Poor sales across the board compared to quite a few others.

You can have an opinion though.

>sales=quality

Thanks for ending all video game discussion forever user.

I grew up playing Ocarina of Time, I even got it on release date.. I played Majora five years afterward. I couldn't go back to Ocarina initially, but I worked through it. Majora is the superior game. Sometimes you do more when you have a shoestring schedule to meet.

There's lots of stuff I love about this game.

The stuff I don't like? Terrible emulations. Also, the 3DS remake kinda rustled my jimmies.

Does anyone have a favorite moment from MM? It has a lot of memorable scenes.

What was wrong with the 3ds remake?

My favourite part in MM is probably the whole Swamp segment. That place is just masterfully designed. The brown/green/purple colour-scheme and the fucked up dekus, the weirdass witch house and all the rest just creates such a perfect atmosphere. For 8 year old me that place was like 8+ rated Apocalypse Now.

Yes. And?

Majora's Mask is a Zelda game for people who hate Zelda.

Your post is a post for people who love being a faggot

And yet I played MM before OoT, and I prefer MM. It's an incredibly game on its own right, made even more so by knowing the OoT characters and the resemblances adding to the uncomfortableness.

I was mostly exaggerating, but I don't agree with 3D's version of the Bomber's Notebook. Admittedly, it makes more sense, but it's just a huge pain.

Yeah, the swamp scene was great. I really liked all the events connected to the farm. Between the random alien attacks to the escort mission, good times were to be had.

Ok

I disagree but I just enjoy Zelda games

Road to Ikana and everything that came afterward. That entire section was fantastic.
>Keeta's past army
>Garo being from another nation sent to kill Ikana's royal family
>The Gibdo's trading system
>The Stone Tower and its undertones
>Sakon's Hideout
Compared to the other sections, the eastern area had so much to it, it may as well have been a hook to another area beyond it.

I want to suck young Link's cock, but going back on track I disagree, it has lota of charm and quirk, but I honestly couldn't tolerate the 3 day mechanic, even when I slowed down time and shit. Ocarina is pretty fun and LttP is probably my favorite, I also really like it TP even tho wolf link sorta killed it for me. Wind Waker gives me migraines.

Link to the Past

The 3 days is absolutely nothing to worry about when you slow down time.

WHERE'S THE SHOTA
THIS IS A SHOTA THREAD RIGHT

So? I'm not a fan of time limits in games, especially when it's my first time playing a game, even when I memorize shit I hate being put into pressure.

The time mechanic is the true casual filter

When I first started the game it was maddening, but that's what made it so good too.

Okay bb why not. I haven't been banned in a while.

now we're getting somewhere

MM is a special game. It made me feel like a detective piecing clues together to solve the bigger puzzle. Even beating a dungeon was only one step in larger puzzles, and stuff like the frogs spanned almost the whole game. I did everything you could possibly do in the game, all heart pieces and everything not for completion's sake but because it felt rewarding and it was just so good. I haven't replayed it since that first time but it's probably my favourite game. I played it with a notepad and pen at the time. I don't want to ruin my memories of the game by going back, at least not for another 5-10 years.

Yeah. I love that section of the game. The keeta as actual characters was pretty cool. As a kid, it made me want to look at undead as more than random monsters.

We can keep going if you ask nicely.

I get what you mean. I've played the hell out of the game a few times but that was years ago and now I think I'd rather leave it for a while. I don't think it'll ever quite feel like it did the first time. That Kafei and Anju quest was a hell of a thing.

>What was wrong with the 3ds remake?

Not him, but I feel most of it's improvements are canceled out by negative changes.

I don't think it's worse then the original, but i don't think it's better either

>we will never have a time based events Zelda anymore
>no interesting time travel mechanics either

I liked it. It definitely felt different though. Less dark and more... dreamlike. It felt more like a twisted fairytale than a nightmare. The N64 version could feel really creepy at times with the lighting and angular faces, but 3D had softer features, bloom and floating artifacts in the air that made it feel unsettling in a more distant dreamy way. The music was less harsh too so it felt like you're slipping away more than being tortured.

I think 3D's atmosphere works great and fits Zelda well, but the original works better because it's such an extreme jump from other Zeldas and it stays with you for longer.

But user, Demon's Souls is the best Zelda game.

I thoroughly agree.
On a 1:1 comparison, 3DS pulls off the giant's world dreams better because the dreamlike nature of that version of the game is vastly improved. However, in game, the original makes it feel more surreal due to the stark contrast between it and the horrors outside.
>pic related, best image I could find
Overall, the changes to the bosses that add eyes are my only problem with the game (although Twinmold is vastly vastly superior in 3DS, to the point where it might be the "definitive version" of the game). That said, I prefer the original for being slightly better in most aspects.

When the 3ds version came out I dug out my old N64 and found all the make shift "guides" I wrote as a dumb kid...
Only to find out the bombers notebook basically did everything and more.

One day MGQ Paradox will be finished and translated.

You know you're a degenerate when you don't get sad panda.

Sadpanda is old news now. Facebook meme-pages share panda-links in their comment sections.

I used to play the Song of Time at the drop of a hat, and never managed time at all. I'd accomplish something minor at like 11am on the first day and play the song

I got bored playing and found it tedious after finishing OoT.
Playing Wind Waker now and Im enjoying it a lot more.
