Basically, you select three activities that she will be doing in a month. In general it is going to be work to increase stats, resting, competitions against other people, or adventuring to explore/RPG fights. Most of the time is spend increasing stats with the occasional rest. The tricky part at the beginning of the game is getting together money to do what you like - just a week off, rather than a vacation, doesn't reduce stress much so it's a bigger waste of time. Once you get rolling, it's far easier and you can focus harder on getting higher stats.

There's a bunch of hidden stuff as well, like meeting the prince, or the rivals in various competitions, or the stuff you can find exploring.

Just buy an overage dress, change her to 17, put on the dress, then change her back to 10. Since there isn't a graphic for that dress at that age, she'll be wearing nothing.

The remake has some content that original didn't have, but has also lost some content, including the cheat shop and the "UnDress".

PM2 is Gainax's best game ever made, although that's not really saying much. As a game I like Go! Go! Princess the best. 3&4 are the deeper ones that focuses on just the simulation, and 1,2, and 5 have goofy little RPG section tacked onto them. There are several "abandonware" sites that you can google, the game is popular amongst them. As far as the game goes, there are numerous ports on consoles including PC Engine, SNES, Saturn and Dreamcast which are all censored, and the original DOS version. PM2 currently is the only one fully translated, and is what most people are familiar with. It's a fine game though the series got progressively better/more involved up to 5 where the series ended. Personally prefer 3/5 over the rest but i think its fair to say that 5'sthe best of them all bar daughteru design and no friendship endings. There is just so much shit to do in 5 and lengthwise makes PM2 seem like a demo game.

They are two quite different games to be honest. Sure both games involve training your girl, but Long Live the Queen is linear with a reactive story. One playthrough will be similar to the next because the events are all the same; it's just different decisions and stats will change the outcome. Princess Maker on the other hand is pretty open to whatever you want to do, you live with your girl for years building her up and letting her have adventures (if you want) then you see how it plays out. You can go out to find the plot or ignore it at your whim.

PM2 is a better game, but I like what LLtQ tried, if there was more variation and less bullshit skill-check or die checks I'd love it. I would like to see more games with the same level of illusion of choice LLtQ gives.

Here's the problem about old farts that hate achievements, they're a finite number of them. Generations that love achievement hunting, on the other hand, can in theory be born infinitely assuming natural resources don't run out. And there's also the fact that the ones who don't like achievements end up buying the games anyways because well they like to play games.

Oh you don't want an account. Here's the major issue with that, DRM. They need some method of tying the game to you so you don't freely distribute it all over the internet once you buy it (not like that ever stopped pirates anyways).

They could just make the DRM like DLsite and Getchu's DRM where you don't need an account just the serial number or email. I guess you're right though in that they wouldn't change the way they do things just to appeal to a small minority.

DLsite doesn't really have any DRM at all on their shit. Once you buy it, there's nothing stopping you from reuploading the stuff.
