What are they getting from it?
I expect they don't handle over games for free just because they feel like it.
In past I fucked my notebook with shitload of adware because of it. Any recommenation on good anti-virus programs or "sauce" on trustworthy uploaders?

Stick to 'official' torrents, private FTPs.
Beware of wild cracks lest you want your machine to crawl with unwanted digital life offering penis enlargement or DDOSing anyone malware masters desire.
Be patient especially with stuff using DENUVO protection. It takes time and effort to crack.
