The reason why there's no PC, or even Xbox version is that they are barely relevant platforms in Japan and in the west they barely sell (on Sony consoles at that).
Nagoshi himself is interested into multiplatform development, but Japanese market doesn't allow for that. That's why Binary Domain got 360 and PC release, since it was targeted for western audience. And few years back Nagoshi said that in the future PC will grow into much more relevant platform (same with phones).

Now studios such as IF add Japanese language support to already released games on Steam. Hell, you can even see Japs on Nico streaming some PC games, like Half-Life. Yes. Switchable fighting styles are great. 60fps really helps the gameplay a ton, and Majima is just fun to use. Dancer style is ridiculously over-the-top.

I agree with you and it also had the best cutscene facial animation as well, I don't know how they went backwards on that front with 5. However, each character's arc was too short for my tastes, Yakuza 5 did better on that front, where it felt like each character had a lengthy self-contained narrative before the pieces connected in the end.

i miss the heat moves from 1-2 that were fast and quick. 3 on they all repeat the animation like 3 times and have slow motion

My experience with emulators have generally been much worse than HD collections. The only real shitty thing I've noticed in a HD collection is in DMC3 when one specific move doesn't work properly.

Whenever something doesn't work properly in an emulation I always think it's my own fault and it haunts me to no end.

You can extrapolate a lot from that though, 99% of the time first week sales are the majority of the sales that are going to happen for a very large portion of a games shelf life.

they are like small mission where you just run around and kill people and theres a small boss fight at the end
you get soldier cards that give you powerups and stuff as the missions may have special cards required and shit
they are real arcadey and for new weapons and stuff you need to them. theres a shitload of swords, armor, guns and other stuff you can build but it all requires supplies and money

He'd have a point if Sega never released a PC game like Atlus. Atlus has never made a PC game, and Sega is incredibly unpredictable. Maybe this is to test the waters for the demand of a PC version, since that was another reason why they were hesitant on bringing them over. Then again, I doubt anyone fucking wanted VC.

I said 4, but 3 is okay if you can find it. 4 is just easier to get a hold on as it's on PSN. Either one is fine, 3 is just a little slow at the start for some people.

Sleeping Dogs and Yakuza are whole different playing fields.

Yakuza 1 is a bit clunky, but still good.

Yakuza 2 fixes everything wrong with 1.
It's amazing.

3 has some slow moments in the beginning. More like a vacation for an MC from 1-2 games. He has to deal with problems of kids in an orphanage and other stuff for a while in a game. If you can find it - play it.

4 is fast, easy to find, has new characters.

Both have inferior plot to first two games. 5 too, sadly.

I don't have a PS4 and have never played Yakuza, but...as a guy who hands out hundreds of business cards per year, that's a very attention-grabbing special edition bonus. Might pick one up on eBay later. Hopefully it's not shit quality.

SeeIt's to indicate that it's exclusive for PS4 when it comes to consoles by third party decision. But when it comes to non-console platform, it's up in the air, up to the publisher and not Sony's decision, so they use that tag to play it safe just in case the publisher wants to bring it to PC for the foreseeable future. They don't want to use Only on PlayStation tag only to look like a fool and mislead people in case the publisher does port it. It doesn't mean any confirmation.

Frankly speaking, Sega wouldn't even localize Yakuza 0 had it not for Sony's backing. Remember, it was part of the deal with Yakuza 5 under Sony's #BuildingTheList campaign. So, I doubt they will put the effort for PC release.
