the last memorable one for me was 4 years or so when xbone/ps4 debuted, i couldn't even tell you what was special about this year's e3.

I finally watched the Konami E3 2010 video and I laughed at this.

Fucking hell, why did E3 2010 have to be so good? It was the perfect mix of new consoles, new games and embarrassment. Nintendo has stopped holding conferences, Iwata is dead, Konami will never show it's face at E3 again, and because of what happened at E3 2013 we're never going to get true spaghetti from Sony or Microsoft ever again.

What do we have left, Ubisoft? Why did it have to go so wrong?

It looks like a spin-off of Dynasty Warriors with comparable enemy numbers, that is, several dozen on screen at any given time.
