I like compliments and I like giving them. I notice when I give compliments or I help someone out once, the rest of the game that person comes to my aid everytime. If they add me, I usually decline. I don't have the energy for any more friends. Still, that re-enforcement that I give out comes in handy for me in terms of winning, plus I know it is a nice confidence boost for a stranger.

I love games where you have that one rival player who is about your skill level. Every fight feels like a coin toss. Even better when he gives you the respect call out like, "Good fights user" or "Good aim user".

I engaged in negative reinforcement against enemy players for years in an effort to make them angry and play worse. I've only just started experimenting in positive reinforcement for teammates and damned if it doesn't turn some games around.

People really do play a lot better when you thank them and give them good call outs and say simple stuff like "oh man, great try, we'll get them next round."

Great feels. I also really like when you've been facing off against that guy all night having great fights and then you're finally on the same team. You don't need to say anything you just know what the other is going to do and you decimate the other team together. Those rare gorgeous moments.

I once clutched a 1 vs 7 in Chivalry. It was the most insane shit ever. Decapitated the first two guy, ducked under the third guy's swing, rammed my spear into the guy right behind him, took out my secondary and slashed the fifth close enough so the sixth guy would try to hit me and actually started hitting his team-mate. Entire server went batshit insane. There is a good chance I will never ever surpass this in any online game ever. But I'm certainly not going to stop trying, felt pretty good.
