Great singleplayer, people say 2 is good but 1 was fantastic. Watch it if you cant play it. Multiplayer maps were nicer and there was an all around tone of fun to everything.

I know, I used to have it on the 360. I still think it's a standout game in the series. Singleplayer was freeform as hell and the levels truly felt like big sandboxes. I also like how regenerating health hadn't been introduced in this game yet so playing multiplayer definitely required more teamwork as opposed to BC2.

I'm playing all the games in release order, and I'm now playing 4. Yes, its cutscenes are a little long, and some unecessary, but it has good gameplay, even chapter 3. It tried to do something different with stealth and the battlefield in chapter 1 and 2 feels more alive and real than the so-called battlefield in V. At least in 4 we actually see factions fighting against each other.

I would kill to have the entire MGS series on PC. It's the only reason I' still holding on to my PS3. I'd even be ok with a remaster/port to PS4.
