Folding ideas video about End of Eva was very well thought out, his reading of it from a feminist perspective, the word pretentious is thrown around way too much, if you watch his video critizising the cremaster cycle you'll see him rip apart pretentious wankery. Reading end of Eva as feminsit was something I had not thought of, so it was interetsting.

Hbomb perfectly takes the piss out of Davis Aurini, Tf00t et al. Also his fallout 3 critique was spot on

I don't know, I don't know much about anime criticism, There are probably loads of monographs about Marxist theory and Eva somewhere, I just saw this video and thought his points were well made, nothing ground breaking, he generally tries to keep his videos self contained and doesn't sperg out on the Butler/Sontag etc Foucaultian nonsense.

His main point was the subversion of fanboyish expectations with shinjis selfish and entitled nature being ripped apart by the female leads, I would suggest you watch it but it is quite long. Even if you don't agree you might still find it interesting
