I could get down with first person RE if done well, but everything that I've seen of 7 seems way more like Outlast than anything else. I just want another game that plays like Revelations 2 but with monsters that don't look like they belong in Silent Hill. Hell, I'd settle for the SH monsters, they really weren't bad but I don't quite think they fit the theme.

Now that online isn't terrible the market's ripe for another Outbreak game and Capcom could make one set in Terragrigia and do whatever the fuck they wanted since the city was destroyed at the end of the incident, but they hate money too much to do something like that.

I love everything about RE1, my only gripe is how it really stops being comfy once you get to the cave part.

If you can play it on a DS at all, I'd recommend Deadly Silence then if you still haven't played that one. It's got yet another Arranged Mode of its own that adds touch screen puzzles to shit, but it's got some other little QoL improvements like R+B reloading and Knife being a passive weapon you always have with L.
