this is, what, the 5th iteration of Tekken 5? i honestly can't think of a fighting game that's remained as stagnant as tekken for so long.
i'll pick it up anyway, since nothing else is coming out in terms of fighting games. will main josie and master raven since bruce and raven are gone.

This is the exact reason the original designer left. Namco started just adding gimmicks to Tekken 5 instead of actually innovating or making significant gameplay changes like they did in 3 and 4. Tekken 6 was just DR with bounds, Tekken 7 is just DR with supers, etc. It's refreshing to go back and play Tekken 4 or watch some T3 tournaments, just to imagine where the game could've gone if they kept innovating instead of just stopping at 5.

Honestly can't wait. My main Xiaoyu is shaping up to be pretty good. I really wanted to give Lee and honest go, but the fact that they changed his f3 to violet's already makes me not want to play him anymore.

If my PS3 still worked and the PS3 wasn't a console, I'd totally upload a bunch of personal replays which my PS3 HDD was full of. Such an amazing fighting system and it allowed for the most satisfying matches of any fighting game out there (and I play them all).

Just a crying shame that it never really picked up in the West... doesn't halp that Sega is so retarded that they quietly released a weird version of FS for ps3/360 at the end of the console's lives and then also didn't advertise it.
