Ogre Battle 64

Tzar, Burden of the Crown.

Iron Blood.

Tales of Symphonia:Dawn of the New World

the darkness ;_;

Quest 64.

Quest 64
Bomberman 64
Bomberman Hero
Chameleon Twist

hunted the demon forge

...

kane and lynch 2

Questmind.

No, I love the darkness despite how technically awful it is as a game.

>Cred Forums hates Enslaved
oh well
Also
Dark Sector is rarely talked about by anyone but me on here.

Drakengard
Drakengard 2

I guess Lucky Luke for the SNES.

Well, that game was a piece of shit.

MGO2

>Quest 64
I liked it because it was one of the few RPGs that the Nintendo 64 had, it was okay otherwise.
>Bomberman 64
Friends and I loved that game.

But user a ton of people liked that game ...oh

toy story 2

no one on here anyway

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team

Everyone just talks about the DS sequels.

KKND series
Tatsunoko vs Capcom

So few shits were given about that game that it got a sequel.

Are you stupid?

Sunset Riders

Tetris attack for the SNES

i give a shit too user

Randalyn

Metal Walker

Super Punch-Out!!

MD is pretty loved though.

and the sequel sold like shit because no one gave a fuck about the first one in the first place, dumbass.

everyone gives a shit

I like it as well

Never met anybody who played this.

pretty much 90% of the sega saturn library, so fucking underrated

Dark Sector was the shit back in the day. Shame a simple but fun little 3rd person shooter turned into a korean-tier grinding faux-mmo in the sequel.

...

>despite how technically awful it is as a game.

im assuming you played the ps3 version?

Condemned: criminal origins

...

Infinite space
I wanted a 3ds sequel, fuck

Cel Damage
One of my favourite games of all time

Played this alot of times, the game is still solid today. Defeating final boss was a hard, but possible task. But finding ALL the secrets? There are just too many.

Yggdra

The story was actually fairly interesting, and the combat, while gimmicky, was at least kinda fun.

I'm sad that there will never be even thoughts of a sequel considering they got sued into oblivion.

People don't like enslaved?

Freedom Fighters. Still some of the most fun I had during my childhood playing splitscreen versus.
>gather your little squad, set up some guys on turrets/bases
>sometimes bumrush with squad
>sometimes send in part of squad while back-capping or sneaking a power weapon
>dem firefights when 2 full squads meet
So fucking fun

I'm literally the only person in this site who's excited for this:
youtube.com/watch?v=THDsZKqyg_o
Prove me wrong.

Decap attack. Still play through it once a month

which one would that be?
Nope, 360.
And not just performance really.
Game/gunplay was ass, Hell was ridiculously underwhelming gameplay wise. Especially rushing through it with the tank section.

All the times I bring it up on Cred Forums either get called mediocre or just shit.

What's Uplink?

not much, you?

goddamn, this was one of the first games I ever played on pc. for years I tried to remember the name.
thanks user

The ancient crustaceans are the only reason I want that game.

...

Enslaved is not bad gameplay wise. Not great but not bad. What is great though is the art direction. Fallen humanity and civilization being reclaimed by nature while giant animalistic, and mechanized monstrosities roam the land is god tier. I mean Horizon Zero Dawn is pretty much ripping off this aesthetic whole scale.

i love bomberman hero. the ost is golden

The Simpsons: Road Rage for GBA which, to this day, remains the ONLY good GBA Crazy Taxi

And it's by Team Ninja no less.
I think HZD have their own aesthetic though.

I liked the PS2 version

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time

This game was the shit.

It was more of a direct rip-off of Crazy Taxi, though. The GBA Crazy Taxis, on the other hand, were steaming garbage while Road Rage wasn't.

I'm not even russian.

Pic related. Even got localized but no one would've cared even if it wasn't released on a dead system

...

I know it has I following but I never hear about Zeno Clash.

Fort Zombie

It was shit. But I still liked it because hurr durr zombies (back in the days, survival games weren't really a thing). I even made a mod that removed the uneeded physic elements (thus making the FPS stable for most computers), and another mod that normalized zombie heights and hitboxes in order to fix headshots. If you ever played the game with one of these mods, you can thank me.

...

Indie games are trash anyway

...

This game wasn't that unpopular, but most people that I know that had this game only bought it for the Halo 3 beta, and barely played the game.

Too bad because it was a better GTA.

ARC did nothing wrong.

KoL

The game was pretty badass. A little repetitive, but I can overlook that.

Shame the sequel sucked dick, though.
>it's literally the first again
>but with zombies
>and infolog voice recordings because videogames

I fucking loved this game.

It's basically GTA on steroids. Collecting those orbs was addictive as fuck.

I have beaten it over 17 times and still play it annually

Majora's Mask easily the best Zelda of all time

Warlords Battlecry series

I always wanted to play albert odyssey is it any good?

Anyone ever play Kyuiin? It's basically a Japan-only "babby's first shoot 'em up".

You ride on a vaccuum cleaner that can suck up bullets and even some enemies, then convert them into a super attack that sprays them all over the screen. You can even thrust your plug backwards to snipe foes from behind. 2P mode was great.

Lost Kingdoms and Lost Kingdoms 2.

Crackdown was awful though.
Sure city-jumping was fun but it was bland, repetitive and unfun beyond that.

Ar tonelico 1 and 2 but mostly 2 because pic related gets to be mine forever

fucking A game, still play with my gf every weekend on our shitty laptops

Yes, the sequel sucked ass, too much more of the same-y.

Hope Crackdown 3 is good. I didn't even know it was in development before I searched for "Crackdown" on Google to find its cover.

Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

Everyone just knows of the shitty sequel.

Drakengard 2

I bought it for the beta but stayed for everything else. Shit was so cash, and the nonlinearity was actually pretty well implemented.

...

Tron 2.0

Especially after the second movie and it's game came out

I feel for you user, Xbox version tho.

I need to emulate sometime

Codename STEAM

Patrician taste, good sir.

Crimson Skies

the dev said they'd work on crimson skies 2 if wasteland got funded ;_;

...

Alien Swarm

A starship troopers style of fuck them aliens.

All they needed to do was release one more campaign and add steam workshop and the game would still have players today.

The division (again)

YOU TOO ARE MY GREATEST NIGGA

FUCK THAT DISNEY GAME

Shame that was only on Xbox

Moi tovarish

I played the shit out of that.

Sacrifice.

It can get hard and frustrating as hell, but it's still pretty neat.

Headhunter for Ps2
Like Metal Gear but with a motorcycle

There is already two crimson skies games though

Still the best game of the year

The first person mode was pretty cool

Forgotten since day 1.

I came here to post this mah nigga

I need to reinstall uplink with the Win95 interface right fucking now.

Hellgate London

Technomage

Lego chess

Zoids Battle Legends. Loved the fucking shit out of that game. Only ever found one other person who even knows it exists.

Psi Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy

C-12 Final Resistance

The guy who was supposed to be doing this on steam greenlight hasnt updated since December. Thanks for the false hopes you ass!

Sadness, it was like Uncharted crossed with vintage Ace Combat.

I hope we have a renaissance of arcade-y flight games.

Rubies of Eventide

I've been looking for that game and can't find a download for it. My first PC game that one.

Chroma Squad.

...

I was talking about the mode in the base game when the game came out 6 years ago dude

it was barely a mode yeah you could get some stuff going with the console but I mean there was some guy legitimately working on converting the game to first person.

Armored Core Verdict Day

Alternatively, Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30
>mfw it was made by Gearbox

Crash Twinsanity

Robin hood: the legend of sherwood
Swat 4
Ultimate spider-man

I uh...I don't even remember her name. Yes, really.

It was some early 3D game for PC where you drove this futuristic car around an arena-ish place and shot at other cars. You had to kill a certain number in a limited time period and then go to the center.

How hard would that be though? You'd have to mostly just add a ceiling and first person weapons right?

P.N. 03

>Digimon World 4

goblin commander

>Ultimate spider-man
Shut the fuck up everybody loves this game

One of my favorite games of all time. It gets its due every so often on here but generally, it doesn't get talked about much.

>Everyone just knows of the shitty sequel.
My ass. No one gave a shit about the sequel. At least the first one is considered to be a bit of a cult classic.

you would think but apparently not.

steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=158881815&searchtext=alien swarm

It's just an average tps. Get over it.

Achron. 4D RTS game. Time travel is a gameplay mechanic and not just something in the storyline.
youtube.com/watch?v=rGmMenc1jCY

Developer was so butthurt they sued Epic Games for unreal engine 3.

Devil's Third save for a few. The MP is genuinely fun and unique. Getting a clan together, sending propaganda to other clans, fortifying your maps with turrets and fences making every map unique to play on, calling in airstrikes and attack helicopters, that alarm sound when one of your bases is under attack, the fluidity of sliding around and vertical climbing, melee attacks and duels. Fond memories for the short time I played it. The MP has some great things that I wanna see in future games

Morrowind

and I want more

The series had potential but they abandoned it.

Why FromSoftware?!

>tps.
Which game?
Enslaved?
Because it's hardly a TPS.
And Dark Sector isn't average at all, it just lacks polish.

Windjammers and Breakers revenge

Rise of the Tomb Raider

...

...

We all play Windjammers.

...

Baten kaitos eternal wings and the lost ocean

Great game fampais.

Pic related is not that good, but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who played it. I think it was PAL only too.

It's so fucking good, and comfy, and beautiful and you get to fly on a jetpack between flying islands. It's not even like a niche darling, no, people just don't know about its existence.

Super Mario 64

What's weird is both sold relatively good, the first sold like 700,000 copies. I nearly never see people post about it and every thread I have seen gets twenty or less replies.

Godly ost

Blacksite: Area 51
Army of Two: The Devils Cartel

I beat both of those campaigns twice.

Lethal League
youtube.com/watch?v=mkTV-_dU6vI

Like oh my gawd

I maintain that Tron 2.0 is the best thing in the entire franchise. First movie certainly had charm and cultural impact, but it's not much more than a simple fairy tale with computer terminology thrown in. 2.0 actually uses computer themes for story, characters, places and jokes.

Vanguard Bandits

YOOO

I played the hell out of this back in the day. I wish there were more like it instead of the same monster training shit.

>Verdict day
Glad to see I want the only one user

i don't remember but it was for the nintendo 54, it was futeristic motercycles that shot some bubble like laser shit, was cool af

Rocket Slime

Contact is so good. It has it's flaws but it's just as charming as any of the Mother games. It was probably the first game I played that made 'you the player' a character by breaking the 4th wall all the time. The mix of 3D and 2D sprites was really cool too.

Star Trek: Birth of The Federation.

Its like Star Trek: CIV

If you're interested, here's a free download for the game.

armadafleetcommand.com/get-files?cw_action=fileview&file_id=62

This game is super comfy, has great visuals and does what Japanese couldn't do with Pokemon for decades - make the fights fun and skill-based.

Tech Deck Hard Knuckle Grind on PC

It was at one point going to be a Sonic skateboarding game, but SEGA turned it down and VisionScape got the rights to Tech Deck instead. The only footage I can find online is the prototype found on the Xbox dev kit along with the Sonic skate boarding prototype.

Castlevania 64
I was aware that everyone hated it, but the atmosphere really drew me into the game and I was able to look past it's flaws and enjoy it. Although I have noticed it's gained more of a following in recent years.

Empire earth
Cant believe the juden ruined the series

Prototype

I'm probably one of the few people that gave this game the time of day. It's still a pretty fun game to replay. Probably wouldn't rate it more than a 7, but it's still one of my favorites.

>roguelike dungeon crawlin'
>monster raisin'
>dating sim (gotta make that harem)
>town buildin'

Valkyrie Profile on PS1. Yeah I know they are pretty well known but back as a kid nobody around me played or knew much about it.

Good taste user, have a battle theme

youtube.com/watch?v=cHfgcOHSTs0

...

Poor bastards managed to release it very soon after the massive battle of UT and Q3 and as a result flew under everyone's radar. It's an arena shooter with some of the best level-design of all time, lots of mechanics and dynamic combat.

Bugs bunny lost in time

At least it got into Smash I guess

>before my stepfather married my mom
>showed me this game
>instantly become hooked
>had a joystick controller that made it even better

Wonder if he still has that somewhere back at his place.

Yeah and then she didn't come back in 4

Panzer dragoon orta

Try Resident Evil: Dead aim OP, it gets a bad rap but is short, ambient and can really be spooky as fuck on a dark ship out at sea with nothing but the night wind, groaning boat steel and top-tier zombie moans in the distant.

It also has some of the very best unusual, ambient music, best save theme and possibly one of the best intros ever made. Please take a look and listen:

You wont be disappoint

I love that game. Downloaded the ROM a few years ago to remind me of my childhood memories playing that game. Just as good the second time around.

I still love this game to death, the music, the levels, the weapons.
No one I know gives not a single shit about it

Everyone hates Enslaved because it was generic as fuck, as is everything by NT.

>3D sequel never

I've always wanted to play this game. I should download it now that it's on the Wii U VC.

My nigga

>Most space levels have the punishment of if you fail you go back to the start
>tfw a robot grabs you and tosses you into that goddamn shoot

And to a lesser extent Graffiti Kingdom. I sometimes see people mention GK but never Magic Pengel

Best multiplayer game for at least 2 years.

...

This game was cool as fuck and it's your fault we never got a sequel which made it truly become an RTS/god game and a true successor to Populous:The beginning. You have no reason to complain about the god genre being dead you fucks. ;_;

Words cannot describe how much I love this game. There was a sequel planned for PS3 at some point but David Bowie being the cuck that he is just went back to making movies. It truly hurts.

Skies of Arcadia

Fucking casuals can't handle figuring things out. Main quest isn't even that hard, you can bumble through it.

I got this when it was on sale and after the first bit with Goblins never went back.
Does it get a lot better?

Literally what? Cred Forums loves this game.

Really?

Really?

That's a massively popular game though

I've only met two other people that've played it, besides my little brother

Megaman battle network transmission for the gamecube.

>>Zelda: Oracle of Ages
>>Link's Awakening

>two zelda games
>Hipster's top pick at that

Is this bait? Chaos Theory is considered the greatest stealth game of all time.

Most of the games you listed are loved.

Is there any Sqeenix games on 360 worth checking out besides Nier?

Ubisoft Montpellier is Ubisoft in name only. It's a damned shame they haven't broken off from that shitty publisher.

Minecraft before Minecraft.

Scott pilgrim vs the world the game. Got every trophy, maxxed out every character, for every user, so my friends could enjoy it too. It was my go-to fighting game for a while cause of 4 player

It was much better on PC.

Sanitarium

They don't talking about stealth games here much besides weebshit

literally none of you played this

Well not TLR, that's for sure, that game is way better in PC port. And I don't mean better in graphics, it actually has drastic changes to mechanics.

Drakan: The Order of the Flame
Drakan: The Ancient Gates

Fantastic RPG's. Ancient Gates had so many badass weapons and armor pieces.

Kane and Lynch, the multiplayer. I loved it so much.

No PC version, and you can't even buy the game on consoles anymore. Damn shame

...

Anybody who plays adventure games and are worth a shit know and love Sanitarium.

It was way better than SoR assuming you're good at dodging

Armello

...

Sauce?

>Chaos Theory is considered the greatest stealth game of all time
Now, come on. Everyone knows CT is second best stealth game.

user pls.
That's my favorite game of all time.
If your favorite playthrough wasn't with Red or T260G, you AIN'T my nigga though.

Madballs in babo invasion

I couldn't afford a N64 at that time I had to stick with Game Boy Color

Super monday night combat

The sequel was good too.

It's better than any thief or metal gear game, what else could be #1?

Eternal Sonata.

is it worth buying with the current steam discount?

mah nigga

I absolutely loved Drakan. But Ancient gates crashes way too much on saving to be enjoyable, even though it had nice art-style. I had to use four save slots and I managed to lose my progress halfway through because all four would get corrupted from four crashes in a row.

LEAVE ME BE Be be be....

Hunter: The Reckoning and Downhill Domination also

Thief 2, that's just common knowledge.

Tabula Rasa. Still pissed off I missed the shutdown event to attend a friend's party to this day.

I never left

Out of the Zelda games I have played, I enjoyed it the most.

Atlas Reactor

Hunter was good, I have fond memories of sleep overs with pizza sitting on the floor playing co-op with a bro.

prince of persia forgotten sands (wii)

no one knows its actually really fucking good

It really was a unique game, not just an arena shooter style aerial combat game but a fantasy themed one with dragons and airships. It's a shame I didn't discover it until long after anyone who played it online was gone. What I wouldn't give for a new game like this.

Metro 2033. It seems Last Light got the limelight and the redux versions as well.

Also, I never see Ace Combat mentioned. 4, Shattered Skies was the first PS2 game I got when I was kid.

I forced my friends to play

Also
No Man's Sky. I'm 86 hours in and it's almost therapeutic, playing it for an hour or 2 before going to bed every night just to de-stress and unwind.

Saw a preview for it in a magazine and thought it looked cool
In the end the n64 version ended up being cancelled so I didn't get to play it until years later on an emulator

Kero Blaster. Or any non-Cave Story Pixel game.
Rez.
Awesomenauts.

What do you think you're doing posting this vile hate symbol here, user?

...

This game is so fucking good.

youtube.com/watch?v=azc-uHxJh1E

I want to make love

It had BIG issues, so it's not too surprising. But god damn I love it.

>tfw telltale just keeps going backwards while brilliance like this stopped at one game

Yes it was recently updated to run at 60 fps as well

Wait was the rom of the n64 version released? If so was it better then the ps1 version?

the shortest, sweetest one-night stand.

never another like it.

I saw the same preview in Official Nintendo Magazine and ended up getting the PS1 version. I haven't played it since it came out but I remember really liking it. You could switch between the girl and the boy, and they had differend abilities right?

Saying "no one" would be a bit of an exaggeration, since even 20 years on it still has a small but dedicated fanbase, but I'd be willing to bet I'm the only person in my state currently playing a Marathon game.

loved that game. It's probably the whole reason I was willing to forgive Farenheit for all its flaws.

But dear god the controls were garbo.

>I never see Ace Combat mentioned.

First week, huh?

I know it's really short, but for the mad blast of fun it gives in the process I'd think it would have more recognition. Back when it came out not even gaming magazine I read gave it full review, it was just chugged into some trash section of "also came out" with all the crappy adventures and flash-game collections like Yeti sports. But it's just maximum dynamics of fun I can imagine. You just never stop, you shoot blasters, change into plane, bomb shit, have an aerial battle with massive ship, dash through some canyons, jump out into a huge base send out hundreds of rockets everywhere and fly away all within five minutes. It's a perfect game to play on coke.

my nigga

youtube.com/watch?v=-ZQk3ig-i_s

No. There were some boy-only doors and some girl-only doors, otherwise the differences were cosmetic.

yeah, fortunately somebody dumped a review copy

there are dozens of us

First week in a few months, yeah

I'm sure theres a handful.

haven't played the ps version, but I've read the differences are no loading times and no pre-rendered cutscenes (instead being rendered by the game engine)

Obv lots of people cared about these games but I wish a lot more people did.

Blade Symphony
Strike Vector
NeoTokyo
All those old dead HL1&2 and quake mods that died long ago

Of Kings and Men is a new one no one cares about.

Gemini Rue is a singleplayer game I really enjoyed and I've never seen it mentioned once online.

Hard Corps: Uprising. It's not just the best Contra game but the best 2d run-n-gun shooter I have ever played in my life. Fucking incredible game that no one talks about.
It's probably too difficult for most

Little Fighter

That game was cool as fuck. Ahead of its time. Big multiplayer battles, destructible environments, tons of weapons and vehicles.

Is that the RTS with urban combat where you can control the tanks and jets directly? I remember seeing it in an old gaming mags my uncle gave me and it looked cool as hell.

Hybrid Heaven

Interesting, didn't know that. I see it mentioned from time to time, hear good things too. Thanks for the info.

That game is genuinely good. An underrated gem.

I like Bomberman 64 too. Good clean fun

You cannot be serious. Ar Tonelico practically has its own general on other boards.

Spent many hundreds of hours playing this online on PS2

I liked the squad mechanic of singleplayer.

That unique mix of RPG stats and wrestling was awesome. I don't know any other game where you can suplex an alien president.

Game is actually bad but fuck, I love it. No one cares about based 90's JGTC, only about gay Super GT and those shitty cars there.

After it was announced that the Wii U port is canceled, I guess I really should just get around to playing it on PC.

People I know have been saying it's really good.

I played it, didn't really liked it.
There are better puzzle games in the DS anyways.

Holy shit I used to play the shit out of this game

The Desolate Hope.

Advent rising

This game was the shit but all my friends hated it

Are you me?

I too like to wind down my day after work with a couple hours of planet-hopping. Wish the dev hadn't made a bunch of promises and gotten people riled up. Then maybe we could play the game longer before it's servers get shut down.

Bomberman Hero was the shit

Yeah, it had it's issues but it was really fun, especially in splitscreen.

Fuck, I don't even remember the game. It was some weird animeesque fantasy flying game, and the three main characters were like color coded orange, blue, and green. Fuck, I loved that game

I've only played pc vers(got a 100% of extra bosses down), but from what I've read x360 vers was basically unplayable.

I wish this game had more time to be polished. Alpha Protocol had some really good idea's going for it, but some didn't end up being as fleshed out as they could've been.

Pistols were also OP as fuck, no matter how you played the game.

nobody talks about it but pretty much everyone agrees it was a good game, especially for a movie tie-in game, a category which is notoriously bad most of the time
the only other game in that genre i can recall that's actually good would be Spiderman 2

I liked it better than all the pokemon ones. Every unit having a proper skill tree rather than just 4 moves is great. Hexers were pretty OP with their skills that affect the entire room though.

I've probably seen two threads about it since I started coming here back in ~08 that I didn't start myself.

clonk

...

I wanted to like that game but the gameplay was hideously boring and repetitive, and all the endless backer cameos just made me feel like a whore for using my time to watch them self-fellate themselves.

Came here to post this.

Good game. Great music.

Radio the Universe, an already funded Kickstarter game that is supposed to be out before next year.

I finished the first one yesterday and started the 2nd one recently but I can't make up my mind which faction to join. I was wondering if joining one will make the others hostile

I miss it so much...

Not even the sequel, which was also underrated as fuck. But this one, NO ONE talks about this one.

Came in here to say this. Best version of panel de pon. Fuck the 64 puzzle league.

I agree

Rakion Souls PvP before Souls or Meme's Field were even a thing, and it had better pvp
Dragon Nest, great combat, too bad it was wasted on a korean MMO
Ultima Online, everyone who played that already dropped videogames because they're too old or are dead

WHO'S IT GONNA BE

I've heard plenty of people talking about this. its the only reason we even got a sequel.

Thank you, user. I've been trying to find that game's name for pretty long.

I played it for a bit about 2 years ago. Shit was fucking strange, the game seemed LITERALLY dead, it was like i was playing a single player game, but the gameplay was really solid.

It's a good game damnit.

The only thing I hated about this was the fact that I had no one else to play against once I beat the game.

;_;

I loved playing the demo back in the day. I should pick it up if I can find it at a local retro shop.

Hello... Is there anyone out there?

Literally AirMech.

Legend of mana

You probably expected this (You) to be someone you could relate to, but I just wanted to make an Obama joke. Sorry, user.

My niggas

I enjoyed it user.

>liking 2
Only thing I can say good about it is the fixed the fucking camera.

I got that for cheap a year ago, good game they should do a sequel but they never will because Platinum.

Nigger, I came in here to post this. Also, no. A lot of Cred Forumsirgins have played it. It's pretty popular here I'd even say.
It has one of the most wonderful, whimsical world in any JRPG. I often dream of living there.

Assassins Creed 3 only shit things were connor, and desmond dying.

also the homestead and the frontier

also also being punished for being on rooftops

Still one of my favorite games of all time.

Gamecube Custom Robo, everytime I'd bring it up everyone around me would always be like "Oh whats that game?"

Dope game, might actually play it again

>tfw it was the last decent Mana game

Ancient Conquest

This is the first game I played on my own PC. Shit was hardcore.

I remember being really impressed by how cool the glock looked in this game for some reason.

The rappelling was cool as well

The Crystal Bearers (for good reason, it sucked)

I'd say Sword of Mana was decent as well, but it was definitely the last good, original, Mana game.
I sort of wish this series would return, but I know it won't be the same.

Sword doesn't technically count cause its a remake of the first game

Zombies Ate my Neighbors

Dragon Ball Online.
If only it had been handled by somebody other than a bunch of Korean hacks, it might've survived.

My niggas.

The only reason people like say it's a piece of shit is because they've never played a round of Fragile Alliance or Undercover Cop
There are STILL multiple huge communities that are made only to organize lobbies of K&L2's multiplayer. Just got out of one the other day, actually.

Fuck, once IO-I is done with Hitman they need to make a multiplayer-only K&L game, nobody gives a shit about the singleplayer.

Airfix dogfighter user

Neopets: The Darkest Faerie

For some reason it was always that game that was stuck on store shelves long after the PS2 had become almost obsolete. It wasn't fair; it was a good game.

Stubbs the zombie, rebel without a pulse.

It was fun but I've never seen discusion about it.

I LOVED that game. At first I was pissed that it wasn't more like the previous installments, but then it started to appeal to my Tetris-obsession. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I had a friend in high school that loved the game, that's how I learned about it. I wish it was still on steam.

No, fuck you. I still love that game. Don't ever say nobody loves this game but you. It was the first game I ever preordered. Shit, I just played through it again earlier this year. Still fun as fuck

Battle Arena Toshinden for the gameboy.

RIP in piece NotStreetfighter.

It's undead, Jim.

Its going to be free on ps plus next month

All those games on the PS3, will eventually be forgotten not being able to be emulated.

Forever lost like tears in the rain.

Yo this game wad the shit man, the steam version is really good too

Gary Grigsby War in the East

Maybe it require autism levels beyond comprehension

glad this was in the thread, I've been playing it lately and found it pretty addicting

>her

Did you just assume my game's gender?

Is there a cuter puzzle game than Ilomilo?
protip: you can't

>kane + lynch is anything but hot trash

nah

Champions of Norrath: Return to Arms

>He's never played the multiplayer
You're making yourself too obvious, user

LA Rush

Sword of Jade

You very rarely see it get mentioned these days.

Cart Life. It's one of the best games of the last 10 years and only like 3 people have played it. It's a hugh mongus effort by a single person and it's riddled with bugs but then the best games always are.

Bug was the shit.

Breakdown. It had a tiny following, but it's my favourite game of all time. It's the only single player, non open world rpg game I've ever played more than once. It was set up to have a sequel, which will never ever happen

>which one would that be?
Warframe.

It's a great game for sure, but it's not 'fun'
Nothing about Cart Life is 'fun', it's there as a think-piece, the actual gameplay is monotonous
In it's very design it's very much an 'art' game, as it serves to make the player feel depressed, and that simply will not click with many people as per the nature of the genre it had intended itself to be.

I've considered picking up an xbox original again just to play this. Years ahead of it's time man.

I've seen one other person mention it ever.

came here to post this tbqh

...

>it's not 'fun'
You're absolutely right. And that is also, I believe, the point. It's made to mirror real life, in that it's a repetitive affair punctuated by little victories that come in the least usual and less gamey shapes, like being able to feed your cat.

It took the general incentive to play a computer game and flipped it on its head giving you the best storytelling in games provided you were willing to work for them. Quite literally.

Natural Selection

Resident Evil 0. The inventory system is a bit of a chore but not too much worse than other old school REs. The atmosphere always brings me back. That and slutty Rebecca.

Same deal here.

Well, of course.
The problem is that most people will obviously not want to play that, when you're that experimental you've inevitably doomed your game to a life of obscurity and cult-following.

I do agree though that it's incredible, if somehow it were to become more popular that would be excellent.

I've never seen anyone else mention Chaos Legion
youtube.com/watch?v=_u-qsYmFnLc

>tfw you discovered you could use the n64 controller trick to go forward at double speed

C&C series :(

It's mentionned pretty often here. Watch out for armored core and mechwarrior/battletech/steel battalion.

Cross edge series

As for it's popularity- sure, it was never intended to sell 3 million copies but I would've hoped it found its way into the libraries of enough enthusiasts so when yet another derivative walking simulator comes out and calls itself a game, at least one person will show a middle finger and go
>Fuck off. This is how you do it.
if only as a sign that people are still interested in games that are games. Then again, the cynic in me says that ship has sailed.

I remember reading about this in Nintendo Power, looked cool. I might buy it now that I have a WiiU.

UNiEL
Not even Cred Forums cared that much about its PC release
I'm still waiting for ST on PS4, gonna be a day 1 import

Spirit Camera for 3DS. Pretty sure I'm one of no more than 10 people who loved that game.

Nigga I had hundreds of hours on the 360 demo alone.

...

The pit of ill omen from the first games remains one of my favourite places in Vidya, playing these games with bros was my childhood. This track makes me feel like no tomorrow

youtu.be/geNN8lzkD0Y

I love Chaos Legion. I played the demo on PC and then bought the game for PS2. There are some issues with the melee combat and the level design is shit but otherwise it has some really cool ideas and good music.

Will check it out

...

That shit had some amazing endings.

Phoenix Wright: Spirit of Justice. Luckily that made the game cost 30$, but the bad side is that you can never buy a physical copy anymore.

...

Breath Of Fire.

Capcom doesn't care by I do..I always do.

Cold Fear

It was ok.

I keep this downloaded to remind me that another modern shooter will never have multiplayer as fun and balanced as this.

I'm the only one who cared ;-;

Sin and Punishment, both of them. ; _ ;

Theresia: Dear Emile

My life

I never got to experience the multiplayer of KL2, but it looked interesting.
KL2 was one of those games that had characters and style that ascended the absolutely thrash gameplay and story.
I'd love to see another entry where a completely other studio tackles the core gameplay for atleast the SP.

For good reason.

See More people should play what I consider to be two of the best rail shooters of all time though.

I got you senpai

Always saw this in old gaming mags and wanted to play it. My friend has this so I'll have to play it next time I visit.

rip

loved this game, turned a few people on to it a few years after, too little too late

pretty ambitious, could have used more polish in the ww1 levels but otherwise a fun and interesting game

Sky Gunners .... If anyone else has heard of this , you are my new best friend
Also
Dragon Force on Sega Saturn

i loved both of those games, shadowknight was my favorite class.

Thanks user-kun

It's definitely worth a play through, it got drowned out by FF7 at the time, which is a shame.

If you end up enjoying it, don't go and play the second game that came out on PS2, it's garbage.

Nosgoth.

Best vampire gameplay I've ever seen, but a disastrous Early Access campaign killed all the title's momentum, and LoK fans despised it.

I fucking loved this game. The story mode was surprisingly great.

that game has been on my shelf for years, I'll beat it one day.

creeper world 3

Tales of Legendia and Quest 64.

holy shit, I had some sort of weird demo collection disc with that on it. Played it so many times.

i must have played breakdown a dozen times. one of the top few memorable first person games of all time

yeah it only got one sequel

retards

The Wonderful 101
;____;

RE4 on a boat, right? It was a pretty great game, actually. I really dug the setting and level design.

I don't even like or play jrpgs and I can honestly say that game was genuinely incredible, the story and gameplay were both not only good but also unlike anything I've seen before and since, all the characters were great, it's all around a game that will stick with me for sure

If you're not Legendianon then that makes at least three people, including myself.

Is it actually a good game? Scary elements? I swear I played for like 10 minutes; reached a part where the part of the boat was flooded and died by some electrical box and never looked back.

I happen to be Legendianon, so I guess that makes two? lol

>Dragon Force on Sega Saturn
Had enough of a following for its sequel to be fantranslated, for fuck's sake.

The ones that didn't get replies are the rue winners of this thread.

>Even in threads dedicated to them they are overshadowed and forgotten
Kinda sad desu fab

Cred Forums loves it. I understand how you feel though, I've never come across anyone IRL who enjoys it ;_;

It's probably one of my favorite games ever made though.

Ha!
Well fuck.

Vandal Hearts I

Yeah that one, the re on a boat before the actual re on a boat.

It's not any more scary than any classic re style survivalhorror game, but it had its tense moments. I really liked the part in the beginning where a restrained dead creature is lying on a table and all of a sudden the lights break and you can feel your heartbeat through the rumblepack of the controller, that was really neat. Quite standard fare otherwise, but if you like that sort of thing you'll enjoy it quite a bit. Having to deal with quirks of the ship was fun.

While the main character wasn't Leon Kennedy levels of dashing, whatever his name was had a cool voice and was occasionally witty and dickish.

Some areas looked surprisingly good for an xbox game too.

It was crap, but it was fun crap.

It was pretty decent. It deserves to be remembered more than it is, anyway.

That's how I always feel. That bittersweet, yet all the more frustrating feel when you've played a genuine forgotten gem but no one really cares and they'd rather talk about cult classics that actually have something resembling a dedicated fanbase.

Wakfu.

Fuck smashbros

Not sure who you guys are but Legendia is my favorite Tales, as flawed as it is.

Speed Freaks
Kinetica
Pokemon Puzzle League
Digimon World 2
The Bouncer
Sonic Heroes
Yu Yu Hakusho Tournament Tactics
Theme Hospital

Mind you most of these games are shit. But they were my shit games

Fun times

I don't know why but that game was super fucking comfy. I really appreciated the first person aspect. If the town had more social aspects I would've probably finished it.

I've finished this shit twice. Would have really liked it if the second half wasn't a waterfall until bam, ending.

Soul Sacrifice
It was doomed the moment it was a vita exclusive
why must life be such suffering

...

Both of the BoxBoy games.

Dungeon Quest side game on Ehegeiz.

Tony Hawk Project 8.
literally the last actually good TH game and is being utterly ignored.

Same here.
I even convinced two of my shit tasted friends to buy it and they never got gud. One of them never even bought guts and spring, then complained to me about how he couldn't parry or dodge.

Shantae, until just recently.

I'm torn about it...on one hand, I'm glad to see so many new fans (that Smash campaign was incredible!) but on the other hand, it's weird seeing something relatively unknown that you've loved for so long suddenly be embraced the mainstream...almost feels like your baby is being taken away.

But at the end of the day, it's good as it means more games and stuff like Smash Bros. so whatever

wonderful 101 is the ultimate casual filter

Bomberman 64 and Hero are two of my favorite games of all time. You're forgetting The Second Attack! as well.

N64 Bomberman was truly the golden era.
