Fire+Water is steam, perhaps at least according to Magicka

Magicka is your friend.

water, fire air and dirt fucking magnets how do they work

>>Water + Wind = Lightning
Liam Jenkins
He probably doesn't know that dust and ash clouds can also create lightning.
Asher Gonzalez
Yeah, it wasn't the correct way to put it. Replace lightning with electricity
Thomas Phillips
My best guess is OP is thinking 'thunderstorms, yeah that's wind and water mixing together'
Bentley Williams
Would Fire + Wind = Lightning make more sense?
(not OP btw)
Justin Ortiz
Isn't that how it worked in Grandia, and water air was snow
Adrian Brooks
Water + Wind = Fog
You could roll in illusion magic to make it not garbage

OP here, I associated Wind with tornados, which are the result of rapidly rotating electric charge ("Wind" spells are basically mini-tornados in the game) , then I included Water because it's a good conductor of electricity. Just replace "lightning" with electricity, that was a wrong usage of words
David Jones
>you now remember witch and how the girl with the 5th element was salty her element didn't really do anything >also how the show gave you a breast expansion fetish because of the transformation sequences
Sebastian Mitchell
whats a good RPGmaker game ?
Jackson Kelly
>tornados, which are the result of rapidly rotating electric charge Am I being baited?
>The key to understanding tornadoes is that they are the result of rapidly rotating electric charge

Most tornadoes form because of pressure differences when wind currents meet, you retard
Mason Barnes
>fire + water = steam
also >water + air = ice and >fire + air = lightning/electricity make more sense
lightning is caused by friction between clouds (which generates heat) and ice is formed from the ambient temperature, which is largely carried by the wind/air.
Did you just grab the first thing from Google? I'd sooner believe homeopathy than half of this guy's articles.
Tornadoes form from a steep air pressure gradiant. By coincidence, this can also cause thunderstorms. Electricity has nothing to do with a tornado itself forming, unless you're gonna attempt some "everything made from electrons" dodge.
Jonathan Morales
Lightning doesn't fit anywhere. At least Naruto had the decency of making it it's own force, instead of awkwardly put it in the same group as wind or fire.

This element shit is so boring.
Magic should be summoning, conjuration, transmutation, evocation, enchantment, that kind of shit.
Even harry potter got it.
Adrian King
>same group as wind Stopped reading there.

Rolling for mystery elements. Pls be dragon dildos.
Dylan Wood
>Dragon Dildo Element How would that work?
Eli Hall
Agreed. A few bogstandard elements here and there are okay, but it shouldn't be the entire crux of the system. ESPECIALLY when there is more than one spell per element. >fire >fire harder No, nigga. You only need one fucking fire spell.
Alexander Long
>Spark Classic move - make the term ambigious enough people wont get as falooped over the details

wtf is blaze? also water and earth should be plants mud is boring
STEAM POWER THE MOST POWERFUL FORCE IN THE FUCKING UNIVERSE
Oliver Turner
>Tornado is defined as a “violently rotating column of air, in contact with the ground, either pendant from a cumuliform cloud or underneath a cumuliform cloud”
>The study on tornado formation and its dynamics has always been a challenging topic. In general, scientists understand that tornadoes form when a “rotating thunderstorm updraft” and a “gyratory wind” meet at the same place
I'm no scientist, but I still don't see any reason to discard a relationship between electricity and tornados, even more when not all of their causes of formation are known.
But if people keep insisting they aren't related, I simply won't implement that combination in the game
Lucas Howard
>Rotating thunderstorm updraft >updraft I'm not saying that electricity has nothing to do with the process, just that it's first and foremost a pressure phenomenon

Those could be sub-element or specialization
You're a fire mage and excel in summoning so your spells consist of summoning Efreet or Fire Dragon. You're enhancement type and you're a water mage so you can become water and intangible.
