It came out before I got my new PC so I played it on PS4. I thought it ran fine (but I'm generally not too picky about that sort of thing) and it is definitely the sort of game that plays better with a controller in my opinion. The only annoying thing about it was only having 4 potion slots.

Yes. The combat actually plays better on pad (people who bitch about w3 combat are m+kb elitists) and as far as console ports go, it's pretty good. Obviously it's a graphical downgrade and you're locked to 30fps, but the framerate is consistent, which is more than you can expect with most modern games.

It's pretty much the game of the generation, everyone should play it whether you're on consoles or PC.

Its my first playthrough and i feel so bad. I set free the evil spirit in the tree thing and i ended up ruining the baron's life and family. I'm really loving the game so far, despite some control issues.

You don't need to play all of them. Just read the plot of the witcher 1 on wikipedia or something and then start enjoying the witcher 3.

I've played all three of them so I know what I'm talking about.

I played TW3 without playing the other two games and I understood the plot with no problem.
Of course, you'll miss out on references, and character backstory, but it's written well enough to catch you even without knowing what happened before.

I only ever played witcher 1, and it was absolutely horrendous, to a point where I couldn't finish it. I got to act 3, and got to some party and just couldn't be bothered.

empress ciri is ciri finally accepting her destiny, and taking what she's been given to save the world. it fits pair in pair with her accepting fate and facing the white frost. She's no longer running away.

Witcher Ciri is the 'happy' ending, but just that. It says alot that it's only attainable if you willingly choose not to give Ciri the opportunity to talk to her father. it's the blind, shallow ending. The empress ending comes out of her talking to him, and making the decision herself to become empress, it's bittersweet and fits perfectly, as a maturation of Ciri's character and tone-wise with the rest of the game.

Well I feel english voice acting is indeed kinda bad. Switched to polish and it's one of the best I have seen.
