REGRETTABLE FUCKING DECISIONS

This bullshit just fucking happened and I'm fucking sad. Only now I fucking discover the better fate of Geralt is with only one. I'm so dumb for not being cautions. Man I really want to hack this or something otherwise I'll have to live as a lonely bastard.

What happened OP?

Pic related in the OP

If you say you love them to both of them they cock tease you and tell you to fuck off.

Yeah I don't understand, did you try to bang both of them and they denied you or something?

blown the fuck out

shani is better anyways

Yes. And now I regret the fact I could've had a happier fate if I didn't think with my dick.

video?

youtube.com/watch?v=hKzqffP8V8s

>he actually attempted to fuck both of the most spiteful women in the Series
What did you honestly expect? Of course you can only have one

IT'S NOT MY FAULT
HOW WAS I TO KNOW

And they say that videogames don't teach you anything

You should've known by their fucking personalities.

>pick Triss
>kind of feel bad for Yen, and throw her a bone
>this happens
I'm sorry.

>He didn't know there's a BETTER option

Cheer up OP,if you play your hand right you'll be living in French Witcherland with....

Disregard females, slay beasts.

...

Who cares, the ending barely changes that much anyway.

It's mostly just for who you get to see at the end of Blood & Wine.

But the dialogue options with either of them made it so convincing that romance with both was the right choice in the situation. Helping Triss in Novigrad made me connect with her. The various missions in Skellige made me bond so much with Yen. I didn't know why I would want to deny them in the given situation. This shit has me fucked.

I feel like I must embrace this, now. And I'd accept an ending to become a Dad/Daughter team with Ciri, but I don't even know if she'll be going her separate ways.

I haven't bought either of the DLC, yet.
Is it recommendable post game content? Or should I have played it during the story.

Watch out though user and OP,Don't let the Wild Hunt catch her though

Blood and Wine is clearly meant to be played post game.

Hearts of Stone doesn't really matter. During or after is fine.

Yennifer has a MASSIVE ego even for a magic user, she was a huntchback during her youth before altering her bones, she was sterilized by men to prevent the birth of magic soaked retards, and has been influencing kingdoms for the past hundred or two hundred years.
And then you fucked her friend but this time she didnt rape you with magic, you didnt have amnesia, and you didnt get drunk. You just fucked ptsd girl friend to the biggest of egos Yennifer who is basically your wife who has helped raise your child of fate and is literally destined to die when you die.

I guess that makes sense if the wild hunt is your first experience with the univeres but outside that you should of known just because how things go within the universe. Geralt doesn't get everything and if he does its because his fate is going to make him go through some living hell soon and take it all away.

Delete this!

All sorceresses are sterile, not just Yen, shes the only that gets bothered by this fact.

ciri the books
>horrible outside of being with geralt
ciri in the game
>Pretty great, has reached geralt levels of special snow flake bound by fate

witcher is worth a 2nd playthrough

Your right user, the Wild Hunt will NEVER catch her. She'll spend her time Geralt after all

Yeah Ciri herself was actually great in the game, far better than the annoying shit she was in the books.

Everything involving the Wild Hunt and especially Eredin was half-baked, unfinished trash. He had more lines and of a higher quality in Witcher 1 for Gods sake!

Never said it was just yen I just added it to the list because it bothers her and im painting her as the powder keg she is.
It was so nice and thank god her sections are short. I remember wanting to bash my skull in every damn time a chapter about ciri would come up
>those chapters when its just her away from both Geralt and Yen
I'm glad she got dyked

Not all, just the ones educated in the major schools as they're sterilized to prevent conflicts of interest.

>that scene where based Bonhart slaughters the rats and takes Ciri as a not-sex slave

It was all worth it.

That was bullshit, what if you do love them both? problem is that theres no warning and after your done, your not forced to choose.
DELETE THIS SHIT. Ciri is not for sexual. Post Syanna if you have some though.

Sapkowski is rolling in his grave at this scene, book Yen would have killed them both if Geralt pulled that shit.

>problem is that theres no warning and after your done, your not forced to choose.
We've become accustomed to Bioware "everyone wants you until you pick then things proceed" writing. You shouldn't need a warning that carrying on with multiple women of that sort is a bad idea.

>hey lets hire this guy to find your daughter hes killed witchers you know
>lmao rats ded
>should i get my reward? nah emperor probaby gona break me on the wheel
>HEY CIRI DO YOU LIKE FISHTECH?

Sapkowski is still alive.

>his grave

Sapkowski isn't dead, user. He's not even 70 yet.

Yen is the one Geralt really wants deep down but she's bad for him. Triss is manipulative but she's what he really needs and they can be very happy together which is good because I need my fictional monster slayers to have the happy ending I can never have.

>Not killing Keira
>Not friendzoning Triss
>Not magicsgone.jpg Yennefer
>Not staying on the path and riding off into the sunset with your Daughterfu

I have WAY too much Ciri thats even humanly possible user but since your gnome threaten me to post Syanna.....well

>ends up serving yet another fucking Northern Kingdom in Triss' ending that will inevitably be conquered by Nilfgaard anyway
>"what he really needs"

>. Ciri is not for sexual
Also you're right,Ciri is for training which Geralt and ESPECIALLY Yen are good at

I don't know. In B&W they made yen really seem to want to retire from everything and just chill for once.

Please post some ciri triis whoever, but showing tits and ass please

Triss is literally the worst thing for Geralt, all he wants is a quiet life and she is constantly finding new politics and conflicts to meddle in.

>You shouldn't need a warning that carrying on with multiple women of that sort is a bad idea.
Its a video game retard, not real life. Games warn you of even the simplest shit via in screen text like entering bounds within a map and give you tips and such in loading screens. A fucking tip in the loading such as, "Geralts love life is much like his witchering trade" or some shit couldve gone a long way.
My first play through resulted in a loveless Geralt after hundreds of hours.

I find Ciri and Geralt together completely disgusting but Ciri and Yen is hot to me. Why?

>Please post some ciri triis whoever, but showing tits and ass please

THIS IS A FRIENDLY FAMILY BOARD user,GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER!

My post are all family friendly and on topic....jerk!

Yen's ending is them settling down and living a quiet life, while in the Triss ending Geralt ends up serving yet another king (which has worked so well for him the past) so you're flat-out wrong.

Can I get a source on some of these? I can't find them on sadpanda.

What kind of sick fuck does this shit? Nice though.

Best fate is ciri alive, and Yenn with you on your winery.

>What kind of sick fuck does this shit?
The world may never know user lol

>the game is too realistic, it should hold my hand through social situations
Autism speaks

>user does a stupid thing
>gets upset when his hand wasn't held
Sorry user this isnt dragon age inquisition you can fuck both girls but you cant tell them both you love them. Gota be my special little man and put on your big boy pants before making a choice!

>I can't find them on sadpanda
Looking for SFM o n Sad Panda

But that scene is actually pretty funny, OP. I'm surprised it affects the ending after blood & wine, tho. That's news to me and it kinda sucks I won't have a waifu at the end apparently.

I'm sorry friend, could you post link?

You're the reason why we have giant arrows and 50 hour tutorials in modern vidya.

The answer was in your post. I've known a couple authors of this kind of stuff and they both openly admit that there's probably something wrong with them.

I regret avoiding Yen and Triss altogether thinking there was a Ciri option.

Because Geralt is a great mentor to Ciri, but YEN is seems so much more like a Master at slut......er I mean Witcher training for Ciri KeK!

>Try playing the first game
>Lore is really interesting
>The combat is absolute ass

Spoilers, fuckface.

>he actually tried to make geralt fall in love
This is why im glad people havent read the books. It makes shit like this even more funny

>two women who were best friends in the books
>regularly keep in touch during the game
>be surprised when they find out you're aiming to bang the other

Where the fuck am I supposed to look for SFM then!?

>You shouldn't need a warning that carrying on with multiple women of that sort is a bad idea.
But it's an awesome idea! Fuck, it's a fantasy game. 2 girls is better than 1. It's just fucking math. Fucking polish don't understand math at all.

Why would you think there would be a ciri option? The game constantly tells you from the get go that geralt sees ciri as a daughter.

Redheads in green lingerie are my oddly specific fetish.

Yen is the only right choice for Geralt though.

Never got this meme on Cred Forums. Compared to the first two games the combat is an amazing step up

...

>that Radovid foreshadowing

youtube.com/watch?v=HiXmACwAjak&t=8m20s

Honestly I'm pissed there wasn't a special scene for rejecting both of them.

>Radovid was balding manlet with a faggy voice in Witcher 1

user, I'm talking about the first game.

>reading comprehension

The special scene is never having to deal with sorceresses ever again, that's enough of a reward on its own.

>simple text tip
>hand holding
Please explain to me how an ambiguous text tip in loading screen is hand holding? Make my neurons fire this time around though.
Sick bastard. Where do you even find this shit?

I'm fucking stupid

youtube.com/watch?v=51IUI1dk4Xw

watching lets plays when i was younger and i didnt know better, to do it hours on end. why cant it be this short?

Women don't have multiple men in games either, why do you think men should have?

She just seemed like the main girl to be, I don't know.

Consolecuck here, how fucked will I be by jumping into TW3? Should I at least read the books first?

Those tongues do not look right.

Because that would make them sluts. Men can have a few concubines. It's cool.

It's called using your brain user.

The whole game, you face consequences for decisions you make, that's the whole point of the role playing aspect. The game is more interesting because you have to actually live with those consequences, you can't just bullshit achieve everything by gaming the system.

Love is no different, you make choices, you face the consequences. Now you'll be wiser the next time you play a good RPG. And maybe even in real life

Witcher 1 is almost irrelevant in the grand scheme (I really wish they brought the dumb mutant witchers forward though, those were cool)
Witcher 2 is kind of connected but you only find out if you grill the final boss for information because he remembers what you don't
The books aren't required reading either, but Geralt remembers all the stuff that happened in both the games and the books and expects you to know off hand who the fuck Dudu and Dijkstra are.

You dont need a text tip, you made a choice and now you have to live with it.

Sorry nigga, those two are established characters already. The only mistake the Polish made was denying us the Nilf twins.

Your posts have already established that you don't have neurons.

>get super worked up about getting the bad ending because so many people say they got it accidentally their first time
>the key questions all come in the last set of quests and are as simple as "be nice to and trust your daughter"
Are most people retarded Cred Forums?

Who gives a shit,its HOT!

What did you think this was a Japanese visual novel or something? What the fuck did you expect?

Most of the choices apart from denying her visit to the Skellige guy's grave are pretty vague though.

The most vanilla ending. Ciri's death would be the best ending, if it and the entire final act + the endings weren't so rushed and poorly written.

TW3 has the least payoff of any game I've ever played.

Your manchild attitude is the reason why you can't have multiple. CPR is based for not allowing this.

So in other words keep a wiki or character guide close at hand I'll be fine, got it.

Okay abdul.

I don't know man something looks really off in all of these. Like what is going on with Triss's eyes here? They all look not entirely human.

>TW3 has the least payoff of any game I've ever played.
Oh come on, it's way better than that.

I'd invoke ME3 but I don't even have to go that far.

Pretty much. I read the books a few years ago and played the games one after the other and still had to look shit up (wait, why is the Emperor doing this? Why the fuck didn't he kill us earlier anyways)
The wikis are unfortunately really barren for book stuff though.

Theres a bad ending? Most of the choices looked obvious
>treat ciri like your daughter, she becomes a witcher
I'm going to use some hardcore brain power and assume that if you use dialogue choices to refer to her actual father she will end up being empress.
>mfw i fucked the north by letting King Rad do what he wants
>made ciri a witcher as a joke because monsters are almost entirely gone
>fucked off with triss
>geralt actually gets to be happy
I was amazed that things actually turned out good for him

Snowball fight and ignoring the Emperor are pretty obvious, and with those 3 you're good

Source?

>let the north burn because I thought it would be funny to break Dijkstra's ankle again
whooooooops

The best part about the witcher universe is that you could ruin everything and it would still be right by the books. The fact that you can get a happy ending or that things go right for Geralt and his friends is almost backwards

well ive learned alot about Cred Forums today
>requires tooltips to know that women wont turn lesbian when you tell both of them that you love them
>nobody on Cred Forums knows about sfm porn or where to get it
>extremely obvious dialogue choices are considered vague
You guys really are just awful at videogames maybe you should pick up another hobby or just watch other people play on youtube.

A happy ending for Geralt isn't about what happens to the world, it's about what happens to him. The story isn't a generic Bioware "save the world" story (it is for Ciri), Geralt's goal is just to make it out with those he cares about safe.

>you make choices
>choices bring consequences
Wow, thanks man, I never even realized.
Now as i said, the issue is not in making a choice, the issue is the consequences of certain choices are very bad and there was no way to have know that would happen or that it could.
Lets talk about other choices in the game. What about letting Keira go with the cure of whatever to Radovid or not. We have the sufficient context to know what going to happen if you let keira go to Radovid, so theres no crying about it. With the Yen and Ciri one? How were you to know that they were going to fuck you over? Youve literally banged them before and have long lasting relationships with both of them.
The problem is not making the choice, its the consequences of the choice are almost unforeseeable.
At this point I was typing this shit and went to take a crap so, I dont care to proofed. My point is clear though.

>How were you to know that they were going to fuck you over? Youve literally banged them before and have long lasting relationships with both of them.
This is some weaponized autism, son.

>How were you to know that they were going to fuck you over? Youve literally banged them before and have long lasting relationships with both of them.
>The problem is not making the choice, its the consequences of the choice are almost unforeseeable.

It's like you didn't pay any attention to the story.

I wanna watch OP play a visual novel. It would be hilarious.

>Alvin sees the white frost, develops a decade long plan to make a better human race that can survive the coming ice age, which results in Geralt picking him up in the first place
>Ciri just stops the white frost
Fuckin' Alvin.

Geralt is better off by himself. Triss is a manipulative bitch and Yen is just a bitch, though Geralt and Yen are perfect for each other as they are shitty people.

The witcher series ends in a waifusplosion, where did everything go so fucking wrong.

In a game where every fucking person seems to be as dry, limb, sterile and infertile as it gets I really did not see that coming honestly.

Geralt and Yen have been wanting to settle down for a long time, something Geralt is literally dreaming about.

You should mostly be fine, a lot of people did it. You will get a lot more from Witcher 3 if you read the books then if you played the first two game. You can find a video on youtube that explains the first two games, then read up on the wiki Ciri, Emyr, Yennefer, and Dijkstra, before playing Blood and Wine, look up Regis on the wiki.

Why is Ciri as empress considered a bad end? Why would you want someone of her talents to be a monster slayer when as empress she can be the spearhead of an interdimensional human empire?

>implying geralt isn't just as toxic
The whole appeal in the books of YenXGeralt is that they are both horrible fucking people

>better fate
>with a sorceress
Fuck off
Only good ending is riding into the sunset with Ciri.

It's more a bittersweet ending compared to the Witcheress ending, since Geralt will most likely never see her again. It's also the most fleshed out ending.

>autism
>didnt pay attention
>hand holding
>your the reason
Again, the choice in question carried near unforeseeable harsh consequences that for all I would argue, were very much unintended. Because again, not enough context was presented to the player for him to have reached to the conclusion that the game did before he made certain choices pertaining to the narrative were talking about.
That is some pretty shit narrative thread that CDPR took with this. Funny but, shit. No counter arguments have been presented thus far. My neurons are not even engaged.

because it's out of character for her
the witcher ending isn't about her being forced to kill monsters, she isn't a mutant despised by society
it's about her being able to choose what she wants to do
there's a reason in the game files it's called ciri_free

Rhetoric, always more rhetoric

>people think witcher 3 is a complex story with complex choices

It's out of character for her to offer self sacrifice in order to save the world. It's out of character for her to be able to save the world in the first place. It's out of character for The Witcher books to have a happy happily ever after ending where the world is saved and everything works out. It's out of character for the Witcher games to have bad or good endings, yet this fucking game does exactly that

The ending of this game is one giant pile of shit.

memerulehentai.net

One idiot thinks its complex and its because he cant into women.

Haha
This same shit happened to me in college.
Except they robbed me.
Consider it a life lesson with none of the bad shit.

>It's out of character for the Witcher games to have bad or good endings

What is a good ending you get in Witcher 1? What's the bad ending in Witcher 2?

>Witcher 1 is almost irrelevant in the grand scheme (I really wish they brought the dumb mutant witchers forward though, those were cool)

Witcher 1 is irrelevant because CDProjekt didn't have balls to do anything.

It was originally meant to have Berengar as protagonist, not Geralt, but they didn't want to stray off too far.

So they did what happened in the books again, and they fucked up so many characters on the way,

For example, Triss, in that game and in the second, is this strange amalgamation of Yen and herself.

Albin is Ciri, except OC pastry steel.
Dandelion or Zoltan don't have that big story ties except as secondary characters, so they're pretty well done.

The witcher series ends with Geralt and Yen not getting killed and ciri leaving with them. Only for Geralt to be stabbed by a kid with a pitchfork, yen trys to save geralt but because of Geralts wish she dies as well.

Never really got the impression that Ciri would never visit. If anything, Ciri running out beyond the Dragon Mountains to hunt monsters would make it less likely for her to visit Geralt and Yen in Touissant.

Sound pretty 'bad' to me.

It's not, they're taken to heaven by Ciri.

Sound pretty 'good' to me.

Heres how the witcher life works for most witchers
>starve
>search desperatly for contracts
>get fucked by peasants who dont know what money is
>get called a mutant
>Get fucked over by elves
>find money
>get drunk and fuck whores
>run out of money
>Starve
Inbetween you are basically wandering about

>implying Triss was a well written character in the third game

She's not. She's Bioware tier one dimensional. The new Triss from Witcher 1 might not have been Triss from the books but she still had more nuance than Triss from Witcher 3.

Alvin / The Grandmaster was not really a copy of Ciri, he just had lite version of her powers, which doesn't break the lore. He was a great fucking villain, personally connected to Geralt.

Compared to Eredin who was a joke, and they even had the books as a good base yet they still couldn't manage to make anything interesting out of him.

Witcher 1 had better writers and is better written than Witcher 3 , period

Oh it was funny as hell, the games retconed it so that ciri left them in some paradise alive instead of dead

That file name is exactly the vibe i get from this
Except spike doesnt get to go around finishing side quests if you know what i mean :(

>Witcher 1 had better writers and is better written than Witcher 3 , period

Witcher 1 was weighed down by the fact it had to have Geralt as protagonist.

I don't argue it had great writing, but the characters are really off to anyone who read the books first, such as myself.

I would've enjoyed playing Berengar more than Geralt imho, since they managed to make a lot of their original characters so interesting.

Do you think they paid female witchers to fuck beasts?

Eredin was actually an excellently written villain in the original, he constantly taunts and calls into question all the choices you make and implies Geralt can never be anything but a force of destruction for those he loves. In 3 hes just a Hollywood-tier bad guy with one liners that would make the worst 80's action b-movie cringe from embarrassment.

Berengar was also a very, very good original character. His story arc or redemption is really satisfying. I suppose it works even if you kill him.

Eh? I thought being sterile was a consequence of all the magic and body-modifications no?

>go to all that trouble to save him during the fight with javed on hard
>he just stands there like an asshole and the journal entry says he died anyway

In the books they do a folk tale about beauty and the beast. Beast is some fat shit who turned into the beast by raping a woman, merchants let him fuck their daughters in exchange for his bandit gold, a vampire falls in love with the beast because with him at her side she can expand her territory. Geralt ruins this by running back and beast jams a wooden beam through her chest while she goes full yandere.

Theres a paragraph about it, basically its suggested that they are sterilized that way magic doesnt corrupt the child or some shit and create a retarded baby that is accidentally summoning high level demons.

they don't really die, not in the books or the games
geralt dies/gets seriously injured but is healed/resurrected by the unicorn
ciri didnt transport them to the afterlife, they got taken to king arthur's world
after dropping them off on the isle of apples, ciri sails downstream and meets sir galahad

ive only read up to baptism of fire has the rest of the series been translated or are we still relying on fan translation?

There are no female witchers.

Tower of the Swallow was officially published in English earlier this year, only the last book (Lady of the Lake) and the recently released prequel to the series (Season of Storms) lack official translations to English.

If I remember correctly with my terrible memory that's just something from a book that a wizard RECOMMENDS sterilizing them, mostly because they don't want more people with power around.
I need to read the books again, but I think it went something like this

>Because of the Source and yadda yadda it is known that most Sorceresses are sterile. But I recommend that even the ones that aren't should become sterile, lest they have some super-powered retarded baby

Hell, Geralt's mother is a Sorceress, and they even comment how rare it is for one to have a child.

Oh well hell I know what im doing all day tomorrow

Geralt's mother is literally a sorceress.

Aww shit you're right. Need to buy it. Baptism of Fire is the best book, but I keep reading that Tower of Swallow and Lady of the Lake are... meh.

You are truly autistic if you think there's no warning. You should play something more your style, like Minecraft.

only real men would fuck ciri. get the fuck out of here with that inferior yen/triss romantic bullshit nigga

I'm pretty sure that wizard was talking about sterilizing the girls born under the Black Sun, not sorceresses.

not just any wizard - the second oldest and former rectoress of aretuza

Here found it

In my opinion, Sword of Destiny was the best. ToS and LotL both have great scenes in them. Battle of Brenna for one, and basically any scene Regis is in. My only complaint is the intro of LotL about some future wizards trying to decipher Ciri's story dragging on too long.

>sword of destiny was also translated

every book has been translated except Lady of the Lake

>female witchers
user..

well that explains a lot

>mfw i have blood and wine but no hearts of stone

pirate it

On that note: I own The Witcher 3 legit via GoG, how could I use pirated versions of the DLC with it?

>Durr, will this game with no DRM accept this pirated DLC with no DRM.

You're a fucking idiot.

I didn't ask if it would work, I just want to know how to install it so that it WILL work.

Reading must be hard for you.

I figure you could just put the dlc inside the witcher folder, I know its a vague description, but that's how it usually works.

So quick to insult, what did he ever do to you?

>a rare game where decisions have consequences
>FUCKIN HELL THIS IS THE FUCKING WORST WHY DOESNT IT ALL WORK OUT THE WAY I WANTED
The cancer that's killing games, gentlemen.

These are the same type of retards that complain they get 'punished' for going lethal in Dishonored, this cancer sickens me.

It's one of those times where I actually can't shit on the game because it really doesn't make much sense for these two to share you. They could have gone with the ME3 route where you can save the Quariane and the Geth(albeit through very specific actions that make them both realize that they're both being shitheads), but this is a bit more consistent.
