Yakuza is a beat-em-up sandbox game with JRPG elements. Recommended to play in release order. 3 or 4 are good starting points if you can't emulate 1 and 2.
3 and 4 have recaps of the previous games. Features fun gameplay/combat, a lot of side content/minigames, likable characters, ridiculous stories after 2, and male bonding, all while being an unabashedly Japanese game through and through.
That track you liked is from 2, one of the best entries in the series. Yakuza 0 is coming to the west. It's a prequel, coming January 24, 2017, for the PS4, for US and EU.
That's all the shilling I can do for now. Have fun, and buy 0 to support the series and hopefully get Yakuza 6 localized as well.
