Yeah, I think they show up on set time intervals depending on the game. At first I thought it was every hour, but I've noticed card drops at different times. It took me about 4.5 hours to unlock all of the cards I could for Princess Maker, which was 5 cards.

Speaking of Steam Cards, does anyone know a workaround for that 15 day hold period for selling them? Do I really need to use a phone, and how does that even work? Does it send the phone texts a lot, or is it just a one time thing for authentication?

That holds true to start with. Once you've had all your free card drops for a game (see the badges page on Steam) you'll become eligible for booster packs for the game (as long as you login to Steam at least once a week). Whenever someone in the community crafts a badge there's a chance you'll receive a booster pack if you're eligible.

Don't believe there is a workaround but this only applies to traded cards I think. If it's a drop you can sell it immediately.

Yes, you have to nowadays because of all the fraud issues they were having. If you've got an iOS/Android device you install the Steam app. When you choose to sell something you'll get the item shown in the app and you click a sell button there to confirm the transaction. Don't know about non smartphones, SMS with a code I guess?

Well, the Faith bug was solved pretty fast, and they posted an announcement saying they care about the reception and to support the game, so I can assume they'll soon fix most of the stuff.

I don't have any hopes for a better translation tho, considering their official announcements

Most of the translation is fine in-game outside of the Stat names. Outside of that, there is one part I've found that's untranslated which is during the ending cutscene when your daughter tells you how you did. It's all in spoken Japanese without any subtitles.

Her measurement growth is semi-random sometimes you get lucky but buxomize pills improve the size AND the growth rate. The younger she is when you give her the pills the bigger result they'll have on her development.

Guess it's time to start buying the pills first before the Venus Bracelet.

Oh and keep her on a standard/hearty diet as much as you can while she's young, you should start really slimming her down only after she's like 16 or so if you don't want to gimp her growth.

for ultimate power gaming pick October 1st, it gives you an entire year to prepare for the harvest festival.

Don't forget January 31, which gives you an extra chance to meet the prince.

I believe her birthday being 1/1 would give her extra chance to hang out with the special castle patrol since he only shows up in January.

if you hate yourself and want to minmax you can try to go to the desert and get some treasure, there's a pretty easy to get chest with 800g and one a little further in with an item you can sell that's worth 1100g, but you have to pay a 200g toll to get to it. but there's a high chance you'll get totally fucked by monsters before you get to either, so you'd have to save first. honestly don't recommend this if you've never played before.

I purposely make her delinquent in year one because in the old versions, scolding her while being in delinquent mode gets rid of stress, it was a free stress reduct and affinity gain.

Elegance is harder to gain

Just a note that maxing Art locks you into the ending as an Artist most of the time due to how ending priorities work. It's better than her becoming a prostitute, though.

The translation is pretty accurate from what I can understand of the spoken Japanese, but there are a few typos every now and then.

it's more a matter of consistency, some characters have different names in different places, like in the fighting tournament, or if they challenge the fencing school, or if they attack in the street. i know the first time you go to fencing school Leftor introduces himself as Leftor, and then after that he's Left Oar, or something like that. also in the UI, some stats will be written normally, like Sensitivity or Cooking, and then there will be ELEGANC. in the same UI in all caps. plus apparently the game always says you 'lose' the fighting tournament, even if you won.

it really depends on what kind of daughter you want to raise. if you want her well rounded then art, cooking (housework and restaurant, later on), sensitivity (after housework, usually with babysitting) are good right now in addition to farming and combat lessons. when you get moved to the B level kungfu class you should start fencing lessons to raise your attack.

basically you don't want to raise anything that you'll be lowering again later by doing something else. you don't want to raise elegance while still working on your stamina/making money at the farm. you don't want to raise intelligence before speech, which can only be raised at the bar when she's older.
