The game will be an average typical game. Nothing jaw dropping, just average. However the game will easily get 9/9.5s across the board. For people waiting for what seemed like a decade, you will be disappointed but not to the point where you hate the game. This is what interests me most myself.
So far we only know that each weapon type (spear/sword/broadsword/dagger/etc.) has a single moveset. But some of the weapons are upgradeable so it may change when you upgrade them enough.

Each relic weapon should have its own unique moveset and warping properties. They sound pretty overpowered but constantly drain your mp or hp, so they're situational.

Overall, I think that build variety isn't something you can find in XV, it's more about which weapon is best suited for each specific situation. That being said, I'll probably stick to the 1h-sword/broadsword/spear/magic combo for most of the times.
I'm still disappointed magic occupies a weapon slot but it allows for free warping, so you're almost forced to have it equipped for advanced gameplay.

No, they changed it to give more manual control which they literally fucking showed at TGS. That webm literally shows them manually driving then driving into another vehicle. You can freely steer, turn around and drive as you would in other games.

When you press triangle/y with magic equipped you will do an instant normal warp without throwing any weapon. It is quick, has invul. frames and is more precise then the airstepping.
