The first two thirds of the game are great. The last part is a boring, generic slog that removed all of the features that made the game fun to play.

By that logic there's nothing to do in any fps.
Crysis offers amazing level design that suits every playstyle, nanosuit allows for tons of different ways to finish a level, difficulty is extremely well balanced, there's physics that no other game has, god tier graphics, tons of fun.

The only problem is that we'll never have a proper sequel.
