L4D2 was perfect, L4D1 had the better characters and campaign but 2 had the better gameplay for sure. Seeing as you can play through 1's campaign with 2's gameplay makes it 10/10

L4D2 is a great game. It sucks that it's not completely polished but it's amazing that Valve made it in less than a year.

I only played L4D2. I thought it was pretty fun, something acceptable to chew on while waiting for HL3. Then Portal 2 turned out to be the last game VALVe made worth playing.
