I don't agree with your opinion. I also thought ZTD was a very enjoyable game.It's puzzles were too hard for me to complete on my own but I enjoyed the storytelling, atmosphere and music. Games where I don't have to do much but click on things or press a few buttons are very fun.

Yes I own Overwatch however it's the tiype of game that gets stale quickly. Once you realize it's just a blizzard boardroom Venn diagram of 'things that will sell' (Marvel/FPS/MOBA) it gets boring quickly. There's not even any real content in there either. I own Demon Souls, Dark Souls and Dark Souls 2 and they're all very boring games.

Dark souls 3 was pretty good and so was stardew valley. Doom was amaxing. Every other game sucked ass and I just needed up putting 2000 more hours into cs go over the year.

I wholeheartedly agree. I feeling around playing games released in the 2000's and mid 2000's is such a wonderful joy to me. Back then it was for normies yes, but not to the extent that it is today. Videogames have become far too commercial and as a result have turned into this Hollywood-lite machine of trash. Japan are the only good country making games nowadays however most of the marketing by those games simply doesn't appeal to me as a western consumer who isn't fully aboard the 'waifu' train. How ironic that I would condemn the games made by westerners purely for marketing and commercial purposes yet shun Eastern games for not appealing to my marketing standards. In the end I just want the feeling I had during childhood back. The feeling that I am 'building up to something eventually'. The feeling that 'one day I will become someone'. Now that feeling has been replaced by the emptiness of reality all the way down into my core and the only way to fill it is with killing time and short term cravings such as food and porn and media consumption. Or rather I should say 'was' as even those things have no become an empty bore to me.
Am I simply incompatible with what these times have to offer in terms of entertainment?
Or am I just waiting for a coincidence to bring me back into the 'building up' feeling again that us humans strive to achieve outside of our pleasure craving activities?
I suppose in the end, time will tell it's own story.
