I got internet back today and went straight through sophia and alex. Fucking awesome, a11 and a12 are seriously stand out fights and i fucking love them. Cant wait to get cracking on savage tomorrow

If you'd actually tried it you'd know why it won't work. If you split wins and wintrade 50/50 you won't get first place because you'll lose to the people who won all 30 of their tournament games - which I already do easily enough against randoms.

Getting your friend to throw 30 games has many problems too, the least of which being that verminion games count as duty finder duties, so if you lose/forfeit too many of them too quickly, you get flagged as a leaver and banned from the entire DF system (even for PvE stuff) for a day. If you do it slowly you're looking at an hour+ of time just sitting there throwing games.

I wouldn't put my friends through that even if I could. The MGP is a bonus anyway, believe it or not I play it because it's fun

Stick to the minions with the 230 potency cone aoe LB, you want to prioritize speed and have one from each type to tech swap as needed. Coeurl kitten for critters, beady eye for monsters, and wind up minfilia for poppets.

Coeurl kitten is great to open with because of their 4 speed, so even if you get counterpicked you never have to fight, just run away and harass. They're super effective against search eyes too, sniping one is a great advantage.

Other than that its just basic rts stuff, macroing properly so you're never not producing minions, withdrawing half dead ones in lull periods so they can be replaced by fresh full hp minions. The rest is up to your mechanics and apm.

They're really gearing the game towards having a content buddy or two, it's nice. Too bad I don't have any content buddies, but it makes it that much more worthwhile to look forward to when I do find something like that. IE PotD and Wondrous Tails.

And I'm sure most p3 parties can't either. I'drather have one that sticks together doing phases step by step.

So far I've been really liking it.

Alexander the creator is a great raid tier so far. I absolutely hated gordias and midas (besides A8). Glad the last raid of the expansion is actually good. A11-12 are both great, A11's music is probably one of my favorite tracks in the game.

Dude, either just don't attack if you were too busy killing the DRG when he put the ones up or just Focus Target and read for Vertical/Horizontal.

Either way you are giving any phase before 3 far too much respect, no one even does the PLD's charge mechanic proplerly because it literally doesn't matter.

Also, don't be a dumb ass and aoe when the PLD has a parry shield up.

only 2.1 and the first half of 2.2 are boring. The lead up to levi in 2.2 is great and 2.3 is when things get good.

Once you get past Titan, it starts to pick up.

I really have to disagree. I just started the 2.5 quests tonight and until about half way through 2.4 it was nothing but walking to one corner of a map, talking to some random shithouse, teleporting to the tavern, talking to Minfilia/Alfagnaud and then teleporting to another map and talking to someone else.

It's not till you start investigating Iceheart/Ivy that things get interesting, and even then I would call it fun. Doing hard mode primals has been a very welcome change of pace.

So you missed the entire dialog about what primals and ascians really are. How the sahagin priest became immortal through the echo. How Primals can kill immortal souls. How Ascians, the primary antagonists who throughout the story so far have been confirmed again and again to be unkillable, are in fact quite killable. And how all the have to figure out is how to make a weapon that can slay them permanently.

All of that shit is super fucking relevant even up to the story we just got in 3.4.

I've been pubstomping with a mix of Windup Odin, Page 63, Morbol Seedlings and Black Coeurl kittens. Odins shut down their gates, pages obliterate crystals and have a cleave spell, morbol seedlings are disgustingly defensible and have a cleaving autoattack, if they turtle their crystals the black cats have a spell that direct damages crystals regardless of occupation.

New 1 million mgp rewards when? I'm closing in on it and I don't like fenrir nor do I care about triple triad cards.

Probably the second biggest MMO on the market right now. Caught this earlier on the smallest server of the game, granted the area particularly gets a lot of traffic.

The odin is a real beast at 4 speed, one of the few clean counters to the coeurl kitten. Can keep up with their speed, monster type, and their high cost works to their advantage since you have less targets for the coeurl's LB cleave.

Back when verminion first came out I hadn't hit the 360 day sub mark yet so I was really jealous of the people getting to run around with him.
