World is by far better than 3. You can't even save in 3, plus the physics suck in comparison. If you go back nostalgia-free to both of them back-to-back you'll see how much better World is. It's basically 3 on steroids.

Look we were all hoping that Elite Dangerous would be fantastic, and for a while it looked like it could be. I can't put my finger on what is wrong with it, but it takes about 10 hours to go from one station to another never mind complete the game, if thats even possible

Any shmup, any puzzle, and any rhythm game can be completed in a few hours, tops. A song in a rhythm game takes only 15 minutes, if that. There's nothing wrong with completing a game in just a few hours.

More realistically, 6180 The Moon is a very nice platformer that takes about an hour to run through all the stages and complete the game. It is perhaps too short, but at least it keeps throwing original ideas at you until the end.

Sonic Advance 2 is way up that list. I always have it ready on emulator and GBA to see how fast I can beat it, and for a while I tried to set up races in time trial to compete with user over. So far I still hold the record for Zone 1-1 with Cream.
