Duelyst and 80 Days. First is a pretty fun CCG/SRPG fusion that I think I might like more than Hearthstone, though I quit a year ago.

Latter is a pretty fun adventure game based off a fantasy-steampunk retelling of Around the World in 80 Days.
I'm currently replaying it after doing a France -> Middle East -> South East Asia -> New Zealand -> South America -> Portugal -> London route for my first run, hoping to go right through Europe -> Russia -> China -> Japan -> West Coast -> Canada -> London route this time.

Fuck me. I'm so glad I just got a new job. Saving up for a car and an apartment. I can't live like this. Being a 24 year old who still lives with his parents.

As someone who built a pc with a budget of exactly a grand, I'd say think on it before you make the investment. If I could go back I'd stick to consoles, but that's just me. I barely make any progress when I play on pc and it's mostly just a hassle to get games to work right.

I got friends all the same age who are doing much better than I am. But they grew up in upper middle class/upper class homes, surrounded by those who went to good schools and had good careers. I grew up in a divorced household, barely able to pay the bills, not one person with so much as a certification in anything. I'll have to work twice as hard to get what they have, but I'll make sure my kids (if I have any) have much better opportunities than I did as a child.

Thinking of buying it for her, as her brother keeps her copy. every time they go on vacation they load it on the laptop for the trip and she goes into a trance on it for a few days. She just beats it over and over, she has beaten on scenarios if I'm not mistaken. It looks comfy, I've always wanted to try it but I suck at most RTS games. I to buy her a new one before that went on GOG but she only likes that one for some reason, granted she just dislikes the new ones, she'd likely like ones from that same time period or around it.

As someone who's about 6 episodes into Soul Eater and has watched a few anime dubbed by Funimation, I can confirm that it's actually true that the dub does work there, given that it's supposed to be super wacky. I especially liked Todd Haberkorn's portrayal of Death the Kid, especially when the character's getting worked up with his OCD.

RWBY's actually about a team of 4 girls and another co-ed team with sword/gun hybrid weapons training to become Hunters at an academy for various reasons. But then shit hits the fan once some cronies plot to raze the academy to the ground, and take over the world with Grimms, because reasons. so the main characters are forced to fight even though they're only teens.

Yeah she doesn't play video games often, and is one of those "only sims" girls most of the time, when she does play, but man, she can tear into some anno 1404 and rollercoaster tycoon. I mean she will sit down and play for 10 hours straight. She builds the most perfect little towns/ parks, and in Sims the most bustling communities. I let her play Cities as that was one I was enjoying, and she liked it as well. That's her genre for sure.

It's not really an RTS. It's more of a management type game. But it's surprisingly fun setting up your trade network to support the growth of various populations across different islands you own. It's on sale on GoG right now but not for much longer.

I'll likely pick it up during a winter sale for her, yeah she loves that type of stuff. She'll set it all up, and then proceed to show me how "Cute" her community is and how it's so organized, and how she's the most successful colony and such. It's adorbs. I didn't play it really, and didn't know much about it and assumed she was playing casually, until I saw that she had beaten every scenario, and even customer scenarios (Her brother and her are competitive twins, and they will make customer scenarios in a "Bet you can't do this" type of challenge).

That's her Zen Garden, user. People play these games to make their little Zen Gardens than anything. Anno 1404 has a lot of options for that, so does 2070. Cities is perfect but it's a disaster coding wise due to Agent limit that completely kills larger cities.

He is a flawed dad in a lot of ways. He bottles up emotion, has trouble talking with me on a friendly level. But we can connect a lot since we read same books, watch same movies, listen to same music, my taste in vidya is a bit different though.

He had a stroke this year though but he's recovering still and mostly stays at home. He kinda mellowed out, but it was hard few months seeing his post-stroke recovery.

I only know Haberkorn as Rowen from Tales of Xillia, who was an old dude who had his shit together, so it's hard to imagine. He was good in that role though, so neat that he has some variety.

And that sounds shounen as fuck. I remember hearing that the original creator was inspired by the 3D animation in the Black Rock Shooter TV series, which was something I always really liked personally too.

Been playing a lot of bayonetta 1, just got to non-stop climax difficulty and it's not as bad as I thought it would be.
I'm kinda surprised you have to beat the game on normal, hard, and climax difficulty to unlock all the weapons. I'm also disappointed that the rocket launcher weapons kinda suck compared to the shotguns or the bazillions guns you get for beating hard mode.

I played CK2 and Dota 2. It's my first CK playthrough, to have something to do/learn the game I have set up the goal to eradicate islam. I don't think I'll make it before the time runs out, but I have christened all of north africa right up to Egypt, where the emirate of Alexandria will be the next conquest and will give me a shared border with the county of Cairo, as well as my first, albeit tiny, stretch of the river Nile. It's a fun game. Dota is a fun game too, I played Centaur ok I guess but we lost.

how far in are you? the combats gets significantly better when you unlock a few moves, especially when you level up the dodge a few times.
doesn't stop it from being clunky, but it becomes very manageable. also, learning to properly lock on/off enemies depending on your movement if half the success.

I'm on chapter six right now, and yeah, I think you are right, I just don't lock-on correctly, and enemies are just able to punish the fuck outta me. I actually kind of like this sort of combat though, takes me back to when gaming was so much more simpler.

yeah, the lock-on is super wonky and mostly just constricts your viewport if you hold it in encounters against more than 1 enemy. only use it to center yourself in short bursts. it's indispensable in 1v1 though.

The original Castlevania is so much fun. I'd suggest the Resident Evil remake. Almost anything survival horror is usually a blast.

A marijuana plant but you may enjoy an African Violet. They require little care, grow with filtered sunlight, are a gorgeous purple color, & you get the fun of watching it go through its bloom cycle. Gardening in any form is very relaxing.

Haaa. They are okay games for what they are. I'd imagine that scene is dead though. Have you tried Furi? That might be fun. Obscure Diablo builds could be too.
