SKL- your chance to hit with attacks, as well as score crits
SPD- if your SPD is high enough, you'll be able to double-attack enemies, also affects your chance to avoid enemy attacks.
LUK-affects accuracy and avoidability, and reduces enemy crit chance.
DEF-affects defense against physical attacks
RES-affects defense against magical attacks
CON- unit's weight. this affects who they can rescue or be rescued by, as well as whether or not they can shove or be shoved by a unit.

I beat TactHack yesterday. Well the demo I mean.
First off, neat. Good hack so far, definitely looking forward to later additions.
Do you have a comprehensive list of growth rates and such though? It seems nobody in particular has bad growths as a whole, although a few have bad growths in a particular skill or two. Namely speed.
Like my Wayland only ended up with 10 speed by level 20.
Also I have to complain a little bit about the class ups of Algimas, Tactician and Wayland.
Algimas's map sprite looks ridiculous. He looks like a Space Marine with a spear. And it's especially weird because his battle sprite is much less bulky (and also pgud, a little on the not so flashy side but I like it's more humble look honestly) and more in tune with his character. Also the map sprite appears to have an armored crotch while the battle sprite does not, muh autism.
I took a female Tactician and classed up to a Prince? Is it because class ups are tied to a specific class so you cant make it differentiate between genders? If so, have you considered a unisex name like Noble or High Advisor or something like that? Also, why did the hair go from red to white? Overall I like the sprite, but it could use a tad more color, and I'd like to see it retain some of the original colors, but then again this is your game not mine, so do it how you want really.
And Wayland. Well, it's not so much him, just his Wyvern(?), and the fact he classes up to a flier? Plus, he can still only use swords. Granted, my Wayland only ended up with like 12 skill, so he kind of needs the accuracy of swords, but so many enemies in the hack use lances. I find Wayland was the hardest plot intensive character to use, maybe I just got bad growths, but the way the hack was set up it seems to be fairly biased against sword users in general, and fliers too. Lots of archers and thunder magic to fuck up Wyverns in the game.

I had to actually replay the game since I got the chapter 13 crash, and when I got VBAm I couldn't get the save to carry over, so I went for a waifu run, Al, Wayland, Murderhobo and the rest females.
My Meila got some really good level ups then I accidentally killed like 3 people and reset the chapter, and then she didn't gain any strength. This was my main 6 for chapter whatever it says, let me get together my chapter 14 cast. I need to replay the level actually since I couldn't get the speedwing off the boss. That level was brutal, I went through two elixers because I was taking so much damage my healers couldn't keep up.
As someone who thinks himself too high and mighty to actually watch your stream, I nonetheless feel self-righteously inclined to demand you use Fiona over Aran despite showing absolutely no respect towards you.

Crutch unit for early that I somehow got awesome speed with, so she ended up actually being stronk as fuck and not just an early game crutch.

Easiest unit to level by far, great unit all around, makes it way too easy to tank the mages in Chapter 13 while Boleslav/Celia kills them for 3-4 levels.

Kind of sub par, but her use of bows makes her useful against all the Wyvern Riders you fight so much in the beginning. Probably won't use her in future playthroughs though, aside from being unable to use bows, Kurtis is better both as a tank and an actual fighter (from 1st playthrough, he was a beast, but then again he got a lot of speed, looking at stats he only has a 20% speed growth so i guess I just got lucky)

Comes in a little weak but her ability to use lances and swords makes her useful early on, she also doesn't get doubled so much like Gerwulf does, making her more survivable funnily enough. Still somewhat of a weaker unit relative to some of the other dudes you can get.

Total glass cannon.

Gud as hell, gave her a Dracoshield then she gained defense 4 levels in a row. All the lances in the game still make her fairly glass cannon-y but she murders the fuck outta everyone despite that.

Was really great when she was level 16 with 12 strength, then I had to reset and she got way worse level ups. Still a good unit, especially for killing mages.
>Wayland
Hard to use. Low speed means he gets doubled a lot, high defense means it wouldn't hurt so bad if there weren't so many lances getting bonus damage and near 100% hitrates against him.
>Ernst
Crutch unit for early game because early game is rough. Not bad but he's clearly getting outclassed by new threats, especially because of all the lances. Once more chapters are released I'm probably gonna bench him.
>Lani
Undecided, not enough testing. Potentially great but she's such a glass cannon and it's hard to use her against all the bow users and ballistae from her recruitment onward.
>Celia
I thought Boleslav was good, but he didn't double. Celia doubles everything. I gave her an energy ring since I got unlucky with strength but now that she's a sniper she crits so much I almost feel like that was a waste of a consumable.
