Start with Burst on the 3DS.

Burst on 3ds, nice story, simple gameplay but horrible framerate unless you have a hacked N3DS, from then on you can go to SK2 on 3ds, Shinovi Versus (Vita/PC) and Estival Versus (Vita/PS4) and optionally, Bon Appetit.

And then Cred Forums proceeds to complain about EV because no plot and not enough Asuka when it's entirely Asuka's fault the story devolved into absolute nothingness in the first place.
