Use serrated weapons specifically the whirligig saw pop beast blood pellets and light that shit on fire. 1st phase is cake with that. If you make it to the second phase then you're golden since that phase is easier to fight since its more predictable

What is it that you weren't having fun with? Could it be a build issue, or a weapon issue?

I'm not sure what graveyard you could be at. It sounds like either Forbidden Woods or Hemwick Channel Lane. Did you fight a giant white beast lady? If not it's got to be the latter location.

Once you beat Hemwick you get access to the game's version of Rings as well as a secret area later on in the game that is pretty kickass. You'll also be able to kill the beast lady I was talking about, which has major changes on the game world.
