Where are the Dead Rising threads?

dead

DR1 > DR2OTR > DR2 > DR3 > DR2 CW > DR2 CZ

DR1>DR2>DR2OTR>DR2 CW>DR2 CZ>>>DR3>>>DR4

I think I'm the only person that's actually excited for the new one.

not here, because we talked about this game to death on these very boards ten fucking years ago if you remember.

WHY DOESN'T"T DEAD RISING HAVE A GENERAL?

On the copyright screen.

Why don't you go to /vg/ and make one you pathetic child? Maybe for once you can actually create something rather than just wallow in your existence aimlessly.

I have tried so hard to like this game, back in 2008 and now. But it's just too damn clunky. The psychos auto track even when you dodge and the controls are abysmal.

What's the secret to enjoying this game? I can see the fun, but the controls cover it up.

The only reason there are threads about this right now is because they released DR1 on PC, and "remastered" them on PS4 / Xbone.

But by now everyone has already played and beaten it, there's not really anything left to discuss.

>Why don't you go to /vg/ and make one you pathetic child? Maybe for once you can actually create something rather than just wallow in your existence aimlessly.
it's not that easy you stupid cunt

>But it's just too damn clunky
it's not clunky at all
>What's the Secret to enjoying this game?
GIT
GUD

idk, the game is clunky and shit, but something about not having absolute control over frank is a good thing i think.

the survivor ai is stupid, but give them a gun and a waypoint and they are good to go.

i kinda hated finding vehicles the first time since they are pretty much useless outside of traveling the tunnels to get around faster.

yeah that post button takes like a solid one click. and then solving the captcha? no one got that kind of dedication

>throwing something
Hold rt, stops you moving, aim with left thumbstick, not camerastick like every other game ever.
>dodge roll
Double tap analog, glitches half the timw, makes split second decisions impossible
>zombie walk
Messes up every jump you try to do, ends up putting you in more danger

Not to mention every psycho pretty much demands cheesing. Like sniper carlito, who fires 4 shots off rapidly, impossible to dodge.

its how the game was designed

stupid shit, i know, since frank CAN move slowly with his camera aimed

>Hold rt, stops you moving, aim with left thumbstick, not camerastick like every other game ever.
you can aim with the right stick just change it in the settings

everything you said is wrong
literally get gud
and the psychopaths are easy especially carlito

>I never got past the food court fight

How did you beat the final boss of DR1 Cred Forums?

I knocked him off the tank with spinning arms move and then baited him to the upper section of the tank to do the same until he died

Everything else felt impossible.

I just jump kicked him to death and when he was open i would just spam normal punches

It was flavor-of-the-week and the week's passed.
A damn shame.

Five million jump kicks. I abused his corpse for the best part of 2 hours at the end of 7 Day Survivor for all the trouble he gave me.

Trying to do all the achievements. Waiting until this coming weekend so I can finally make an attempt at getting Gourmet and 5-7 Day Survivor.

...

Sounds like a nightmare. Y u do dis.

Fun, I guess. I haven't enjoyed a game like this in a while. Also, I've only got three left so I may as well give it a shot.

Sounds good, desu. 7 Day survivor is pretty fun now that it doesn't have a significant chance of crashing or bricking your XBox, that's for sure.
All that wasted time due to starving

DR1 >>>>>>>> everything else

Anything i need to know before doing a saint run (50 survivors saved)?

I have the real megabuster and 2/3 speed.

Save, but don't over-save if you have to rush for a bathroom and risk your survivors (thankfully with more saves it's not as hard as it used to be). Make sure you have a rough schedule of when you want to do things; for example it's really helpful to pick up the shotgun from the opening scene if it's still there and then go take out Cletus on the first day for more. As always, carry as much Wine as you can and OJ if you use it up, for survivors. Save a lot once the cultists appear, and try not to engage them in melee if at all possible - yes, it's often quicker (and a hell of a lot more satisfying) to hack them up with the SC but all you need is to catch one quick burst of powder in the face and your run's completely fucked. Tackle Above the Law as soon as it becomes available, otherwise you'll lose survivors! Know what you need to persuade survivors beforehand (like a photo of the vent for the Gun Shoppe crew, or food for Ronald's mutiny) and make sure you have it available - in fact, if you're confident with your survivor plan, you can just murder Ronald instead.

Just go for Ending B

Play up until the case file santa cabeza and miss it so you can save both Barnaby and Isabella. Having a list of the survivors helps too because there are a few that otis doesnt tell you about.

Not him but clunky controls don't magically become not-clunky just because you got used to them.

bebbi

>Not him but clunky controls don't magically become not-clunky just because you got used to them.
there not clunky at all

Why do people like this game? Why would you willingly play an escort mission game with shitty ai?
