There is no decent porn of the cat or the diva or anyone else from this game and that saddens me deeply
I can hear it in my head. All the sound effects from that game are suddenly in my head.
>that buzzing mosquito CD you could unlock that my brothers and me would annoy each others with when we were sleeping in a tent in the garden and played GBA all night
WORK IT
WORK IT!
...
HURRY UP
You wanna test it now?
>That level design
Are there any other games like it? Considering we'll never see a sequel in the same vein
>never see a sequel in the same vein
So you never saw Wario Land: Shake It, then.
I only played Wario Land 1 and 2, what's so great about 3 and 4?
I mean I know of it but what I've heard has been mostly been mediocre to bad reviews on it
3 is like 2 but with an overworld map with day and night cycle mechanics
4 is more simplified into 4 zones with 4 levels each that you need to find 4 pieces of a door lock and a key to the next level
Shake It is criminally underrated

Warioland 4 is good but the level design is overrated simply because there is a book written about it.
4 is a whole other beast
Wario Land games are all great in their own way. It's one few series where they didn't completely fuck everything up at some point.
My first gba game
>you will never be a kid again
4 is the best platformer i ever played.
I'd argue that making Wario Ware fucked everything up.
They were good games in their own right but they shifted the focus completely off Wario Land and now it's a dead series.
4 has rather unconventional level design: if you get to the end you hit a switch that starts a countdown. You now need to get back to the beginning of the level within the countdown, though the level geometry now has changed a bit, certain blocks disappeared, others reappeared.
If you didn't find the key to the next level, tough luck, get back in and find it. There are many secrets and the game really rewards exploration.
Plus the boss battles are utterly great, and the sprite work is probably the best on the GBA.
Too bad the level design is ass
>played the fuck out of this game, 100%d like five or six times
>sold it to raise money for a DS way back when
>thought I could give it up since I played it so much already
>the very next week I really want to play WarioLand 4
And that's how I learned to never sell a game.
It is actually really, really good. Every level feels unique, without drifting too much into the gimmick territory (and even when it does the gimmicks all work), and the entire backtrack mechanics puts a new twist on every level.
>It is actually really, really good
Not at fucking all, stoped playing at Fiery Cavern and Mystic Lake
They are the worst fucking stages in the whole game, no fun at all just horribly designed levels with literally no replay value
>Mystic Lake
Water levels suck as usual. More news at 12
>Fiery Cavern
Ok, you just have a terrible taste
Cool story reddit
Nice refutal memester
...Emm, sauce?

Alright no need to be a cunt about it.
Well, you can always not be a retard.
>play Wario Land 4
>don't like it
>years later play Wario Land 3
>absolutely fucking love it, probably in top 20 games
>play Wario Land 4 again
>still don't like it
Help what am I missing
Nothing it's just a boring game with shit level design
FeelsGoodMan Cred Forums likes Wario land 4
Have you tried Wario Land 2, user?

Post best music
Warioland 4 is to Warioland 3 what Super Mario World is to Super Mario Bros. 3
I always thought it was "MOTHERFU-CKER"
