Personally, I prefer P4. I can see why people like P3 better, but I vastly prefer P4 in literally every way. New gameplay additions, characters I like more, setting I like more, social links I like more, story I like more. I like the TV world more than Tartarus. P3 was awesome though, but 4 just surpasses it in most ways to me. Don't really care if that's an unpopular opinion or not.

A fucking dog, and Mitsuru, were the only bearable characters. Rich girl gave you a fucking motorcycle and wants to ride you while riding the motorcycle. Akihiko barely got any development aside from best friend dying, and even then, he didn't turn into some depressed bitch when it happened.

Also, forgot about the robot that learns to have emotions, because that has been done to death already.

I prefer 3 for the better atmosphere and the characters not all riding the protag's dick. Plus less spin-offs has kept it's integrity intact.
P4 would be better but the dungeons still consist of 90 degree angles even though they're not random.

Persona 3 has a better, more fitting story with better resolution and more challenge.

Persona 4 has better gameplay, and is a fun character-driven story. But it also has a million spinoffs, all of which are total shit. Every single one of them.

P4 is a better game, without a doubt, but it's easy to prefer P3.

Nocturne, Raidou 2, and DDS are better gameplay wise, so just play those instead.

Well, you do have to download BIOS and fix your settings, and reconfig your controller. It's not like VBA where you can just download and play.

Honestly, I though that ended up being a detriment in P4. Any development they had was not reflected in the main story because it was optional, so almost everyone was pretty static and underwritten after their dungeon. And the fact that it makes all of them solely exist to suck off the MC's dick.
