First WebM ever, damn it's grainy. Any tips on making good ones?
Cooper Young
In this case you could've just about doubled your bit rate since you're only using half as much as the filesize allows.
Imho 720p is the largest a webm should ever be, you could even decrease the resolution slightly
Nolan Parker
>using toppers or antennas at all Just why?
Joshua Perry
Thanks, didnt realize my webm was half of what i specified in the program. This one is slightly better, but nowhere near perfect. Does it matter what kind of file format i use when recording? This is from .flv
Jack Baker
>When you can make neat plays
Hunter Allen
>Does it matter what kind of file format i use when recording?
Not as far as I know; as long as the source file looks good. I'd also suggest to setting the resolution to something like 's webm, at 720p it looks like you're getting too much artifacting
Elijah Davis
Cheers. Looking a bit better, I'll keep tinkering!
Nathan Price
>tfw still a shitter who can't traverse and pop off walls for shots
h2gitgud?
Isaac Peterson
Practice, nigga. You'll get there eventually.
Andrew Bailey
I miss Underpass. Neo Tokyo just isn't the same.
Luis Murphy
>being lower ranked than rising star
I seriously hope you guys don't do this.
Joshua Hughes
Funny thing, I was full DUDE WEED when I did this shot and normally can't do this at all Truly suffering
Alexander Torres
How do you even begin to learn thing like this?
Levi Hernandez
well first aspect is just general aerial skill, just being able to track the ball and go up to meet it at all. Use aerial training and go for stuff in unranked matches.
The redirect part comes later, that's more learning how to control your car in the air and do mid-flight adjustments. Basically what happened in that webm is he went up for it but recognized that he was coming in too low/fast, so you see the angling backwards to reduce speed and get more height, and then some slight adjustments after that.
Christopher Sanchez

Pixelated Shades reppin'.
I pretty much only play Hoopz, when will that get a ranked mode?
IT's like the only balanced and decent alternative game mode.
Sebastian Phillips
You know that these webms are like 15% balltracking and 85% luck?
Jason Rivera
I don't use any hats or flags or whatever. What tier is that?
Ryder Gray

Aiming for the goal is my biggest issue. I can hit the ball 9/10 times in training. It's just that the ball will go everywhere except for in the goal.
William Ramirez
>If you don't use the hats I like I'm gonna lose it >REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Eli Lewis
That one in particular is pretty lucky with the poor takeoff and scoring off the crossbar but I wouldn't say that distribution in general
Elijah Flores
>this is what semi pros actually believe.
Andrew Sanchez
>no alpha hat
Noah Adams
Can't get out of Prospect.
I'd say playing with the lads is all well and good since you know you're playing with and can communicate easily, the problem is the amount of games thrown because it's just too easy to fuck about.
>one promote off challenger >streak our way down nearly all the way to Prospect I >again
Nicholas White
>I Got it! >I Got it! >I Got it! >misses
Nolan Murphy
that's not luck, he saw the ball fly through the air and as long as no one is going to intercept it it's easy to track the ball and meet it in the air once you're good enough
Henry Ward
Prospect/challenger shitter here. Learn how to do 100km+ shots, from one side to the other. In Prospect, no one knows what rotations are and the goal is frequently empty. Doing such a shot will either land you an easy goal, or atleast force the enemy team back.
Nathaniel Campbell
Me and my friend both at Elite div V, we win, he gets star and I don't and we lose next game so I ragequit never ever
Chase Turner
What camera settings do u guys use?
Hunter Murphy
I have mine backed out quite a ways, and I'm always on ball cam.
Parker Sanchez
Me and my buddy practiced this for hours. We have a 33% success rate but it will never be truly practical because it requires the ball to be bouncing slowly in front of our goal and only works in three arenas.
I tried dozens of times to upload this in webm format but keep failing so here.
Ethan Morris
I do this a lot by mistake but it's always hilarious when it goes perfect and launches like a missile into the goal
Jonathan Watson
Why are PC players generally so awful at this? I like to practice in unranked and everytime I get a team of PC players they can barely hit the fucking ball, even at high ranks
Zachary Cruz
you i won't even bother writing the brackets
Aaron Sanchez
you are matchmade based on your skill, even in unranked. If your teammates are unable to hit the ball, its highly likely that you are also unable to do so.
Noah Mitchell
>Join game >pro RLCS player on the other team
Benjamin Sanchez
>i won't even bother writing the brackets Disrespectful
John Bailey
>matchmade in unranked 'no'
Brody Cooper
>do it off kickoff through pure luck >one guy quits and dominoes the rest of their team
Robert Fisher
are you trying to imply you don't have a specific unranked mmr? Because that's objectively false
Elijah Howard
Wrong
Austin Cooper
>he doesn't know
Logan Price
There is definitely a casual MMR. I keep getting teamed up with legends/rocketeers in casual playlists, no matter what game mode it is.
James Watson
>get matched against teams of rocketeers one game >get matched with retards who literally cannot hit the ball when it's rolling right at them right after
I'm gonna' say no, Jim
Landon Williams
they widen the skill range after some time searching and if the playlist is unpopulated enough they can open it up to all skill ranges and then you get put in a game with all semipros, but you absolutely DO have an unranked mmr. Go on one of those rocket league stat tracker sites, they'll literally tell you what your unranked mmr is.
Austin Sullivan
default camera shake: off
Kayden Cox
You are wrong. One possible explanation: If you only grind ranked and never play casual playlist, then your ranked and unranked mmr are likely to be vastly different, which would explain the discrepancy.
