Cred Forums organized a fundraiser for some "support women making video games" event and put together the largest sum of money doing so, meaning they had the chance to design a character which would be used in three games designed by three different women developers.

The entire thing went to shit for various reasons, of course, but she was the character designed for the contest. is the only game I know of that came out as a result.

It's not very good because the developers are a couple of BRs and managed to half ass literally everything.
You can only have 1 trap per room unless you delete all the floor tiles and then replace them which doesn't get rid of the original trap at all. Traps are basically a trap themselves, it's 100x more efficient to build your manion as a big maze leading to a singel door and then using your ghost powers to earn points. It prevents most of the enemes from using their powers to fuck you over and you don't have to worry about people running the wrong way and accidentally getting killed.
A lot of the enemies seem to have more interesting descriptions, like the couple being worth more points if you manage to seperate them first, that make it seem like they gave up half way through implementing AI stuff. As is the couple spawns in the field somewhere and never ever moves.

Placing objects is really dumb because every single variation takes up its own spot on a single list instead of having a rotate button or second list to brows through. Desk, desk with empty pot, desk with potted plant, desk with books, desk with record player, desk with ferns -> and then every single one of those rotated 90 degrees as its own seperate entry. And after stage 3 there's no point in building any sort of a cute spooky mansion with the props. You need 90 rooms and 999 props to reach the stage 4 mansion.
I don't even know when Vivian shows up because I lost interest but the reddit girl we made in that kisekei sex poser game starts showing up on stage 3.

Since Zoe Quinn supposedly used her clout to get these dev's game from getting funded, and since they identified themselves as being feminist, the gamergaters saw it as the ultimate publicity stunt. There was some reward for donating a certain amount that would get a character designed by the donator into the game. That's how Vivian came to be.
