Damage reduction or max HP ?

Damage reduction or max HP ?

Max HP feels better, right?

>getting hit ever

+10 Speed

or

+10 evasion

How much HP do you already have?

How much DR do you already have?

Is it set reduction or percentage based?

How much damage can enemies do per attack?

So many variables

Damage reduction. If it's a game where you can see the damage dealt through numbers appearing over the enemy, it will look badass if you only receive a modicum of what should be received.

speed is usually includes turn order as well

DR if you are against enemy swarms
HP otherwise

>max HP. if it's a game where you can see damage dealt through numbers, it'll look badass when a big attack is only a modicum of of your total life

well if we're going by fire emblem rules, speed boosts evasion so that.

Damage reduction makes healing more effective

These two

Touché user, touché

>go for damage reduction
>half the enemies ignore it
Cant go wrong with health

Both.
And make it a boss instead of a player character.

>% health damage

Defense is strictly worse than Health.
Keep upgrading you armor, but never ever put points into it.

And stay away from the jobs with Defense growth, those are garbage jobs.

Damage reduction until you start getting diminishing returns, max hp after that.

Depends on how the game mechanics work

Max HP sounds good but enemy abilities could reduce HP by percentage instead of flat numbers.

In the case of FFXIV, damage reduction is better. Having 20% damage reduction for 20 seconds is better than having 10k additional HP for 20 seconds.

I take damage reduction
Taking 0 damage out of 100 HP is better than taking 1 damage out of 200 HP

Evasion +3 with some dodge gems obviously

who cares about HP when your FUCKING INVINCIBLE

>every fucking frame in the lance backhop had I frames

Man that shit was broken.
