Pugged 4/7 normal, people couldn't handle the spider boss so I left.
Only pugged the first one on heroic, but the dps was garbage so I left after it.

Only logging in every 3 days to do emissary quests for a chance at a lego. The progession in Legion might as well not exist, I only played for like a week and I already outgear everything but mythic raids.

Got this the other day. While the effect itself doesn't give me a direct DPS increase, it's been extremely useful so far to have constant self-healing.

Can someone explain to me what they find fun about this game? My friends have been playing this game like crazy since release and asked me to try it out, so I did... And I just don't find any part of it fun.

I noticed some real fucking stupid wank today.

I'm trying to get an item for a transmog, a hammer from BRF. Now, that itself isn't that bad because it's easy to do now. The problem is that there is NO SUCH THING AS GROUP LOOT in BRF.

If you turn on group loot while in a raid, the bosses don't drop anything at all. The only drop type possible in WoD dungeons is personal and bonus rolls.
This means that although I have several characters who would be able to use the hammer and therefore get the looks of it, the game cannot and will not ever let the hammer drop unless I go there on a rogue or shaman, since it is a 1-hand agility weapon.

So while I might have several characters who could potentially gain the looks of the item, it will only drop for two of them.
Again, POTENTIALLY drop. Because the drop rate is already incredibly small.

This makes it impossible to do transmog runs for your alts who might be lower level or less geared. You're forced to do it on a specific class, even if you want the transmog look for an entirely different character.

I want the hammer so I can use it on a holy paladin. I have to level a rogue to 110 just to be able to get it for my paladin.
Where the fuck is the logic in this. Where is the fun?

Gonna be a neet for a month or two, if I buy legion and boost up a character reckon I could catch up and maybe do some raiding?

Also I have a 100 hunter that I leveled through invasions, but I'm not a fan of hunters anymore.

So is shadow priest worth playing? Never really played priest, and want to give it a try

You'll have to get some lucky WQ gear pieces so you can do a bunch of mythics, but then you'll probably be normal raid ready relatively quickly.

I got a 847 ilevel prot warrior and I've done every single quest up to the ones requiring normal raiding.

Honestly getting fed up at this point. My ilvl hasn't progressed in weeks because I cannot afford to lose a single bit of haste and relics refuse to drop. Also, will I ever see a legendary? I know people with 2 while I can't even get one.

There is a talent called surrender to madness that's design is so retarded that the whole class has to be balanced around it. It's not usable in 5 mans or while doing dailies and without it your DPS is complete shit. So basically it's raid only and requires that the boss has an execute phase where you are able to maintain 100% uptime on your rotation for the entire phase.

Herbalism and alchemism are beyond retarded right now though. Blizzard really fucked up with the potion/flask costs. Herb and alch are making other professions look useless right now. The game should've had that blood of sargeras trader from the get-go.

now I'm leveling a warrior and dk as tanks and I can pull everything and never die or drop below 80% health.

Ive always found that people underestimate self-sustain in group content, not only do items like this and the mage cauterizing blink skill save the healer mana, but they also can prevent the dps from dying. you do 0 dps while dead.

BM hunter is one of the best for M+

I started at 100 yesterday, im 107 now. If you NEET you could hit level cap in a day, every level is 1-2 hours depending on how fast your reading skill is or if you even want to read lore at all.
Save your end of zone quests(the ones that require you to do the zone theme dungeon) for 110 because you get instant queues regardless of spec.
Start artifact knowledge asap
Finish nightfallen to unlock WQ asap
The second toon i leveled, demon hunter(also good for M+) went from 800-840 in 2 weeks, a combined time of 24 hours.
World quests for gear are your friend, heroics are your friend.
Do a mythic when you have 825-830 ilvl with at least 120-130k dps. Get a keystone 2/3 from that and then premade finder a carry. Guilds are carrying people for idk why but you're guaranteed a loot drop, and your party members will likely give you their "upgraded" loot, because their gear is better.

That's how blizzard has operated for some time. Introduce some high level design change to the game in the name of casualization, and fuck over whatever niche use cases like this get trampled on.

If you want Legendaries do HC EN I think the drop rate is quite high for HC bosses.

I've seen like 5 people get Legendaries in HC raids including myself.

I'd call this Bullshit, but I took me 1 month to get a legendary, then got another one the next day, then another one.

Sadly I play a Brewmaster soo even with a legendary and 866 equipped gear, 840 Protection Warriors have better survivability

There is a slight reduction in time now that we are a few weeks out but between the class campaign and artifact knowledge alts are so annoying at this stage.

They ruined almost all caster classes, most of them cast from their weapon so I had to unsubscribe. The new style questing is a great improvement however but that wont keep me playing when the core of the game is ruined.

I know I'm the minority, but I think Legion is far better than any other expansion. Every toon has a different story. Every artifact has me rubbing elbows with the biggest and baddest characters. I'm a massive lore whore and this expansion is everything I could want and more. Just found out about Argus and the Titans. Holy fuck! I honestly have no clue where all this is going and can't wait to find out.

Legendary grinding is going SLOW because of work and other life shit. Also, still not sure about how everything works with world quests, and research scrolls, etc. Ton of content in this expansion and too busy to research it all. Also, my work hours prevent me from doing anything with anybody. Solo makes everything take forever.

Still working on Suramar right now. Main is max level, but several alts still very low. I've got druid tank/resto, marks hunter, dk unholy down. Fire mage I suck bad. Miss using mage as frost, but dps sucks too much.

I really think they should have made Artifact knowledge Account-Wide.

The secret is to level your alts up early to start doing artifact knowledge research, it sucks in the short term but its better than a few months from now realizing you gotta start from 0 research.
I have AK6 and get like 10K+ AP just doing emissary quests which can easily boost any offspec artifact to be close to my main spec.

Yeah. I used my free 100 boost for my Shaman but there's always something that needs to be worked on for my main so I don't have much time to mess with him. I actually dropped his crafting profession to make him a pure gatherer. Dropped Inscription, picked up mining, then used the 100 boost to catch that up.

I didn't intend it but my DK's Blood offspec is pretty much even with my Frost spec. Decided I might as well level both weapons simultaneously. Blood is 18 and Frost is 19.

To have fun when tanking mythics you need to have 840 and it increases by 5 ilvls for every mythic+ level.
You gear of course needs to have your perfect stats so enjoy farming that haste/mastery gear faggot.

Raiding just makes you go through the same content again and again. What made it so fun back in vanilla is that people progressed through it slowly step by step while fun is allowed instead of people screeching like retards about how you have to see the fights before hand and the raid itself is done in barely a few hours

It's pretty obvious. I have no upgrades in my tank weapon so I don't feel equipped to tank mythic+ dungeons or raids. Of course for heroic dungeons it doesn't matter but it really does for everything else.

There is literally no reason not to share the artifact power around every weapon you have.

Really the only thing I hate is the lack of mobility. I'm an engineer so the Nitro Boost is necessary. The chance to fail and nearly kill me or send me into the sky sucks ass though. If it does launch me into the sky I can pop my glider though which is fucking great.

Cleared and am sitting on a +8 mythic for the chest this week.

Weapon level is 25. Research is 6. Working on the double Legendary Tech.

Got my first legendary last tuesday. Got my second legendary literally 20 minutes later killing Nythendra on normal difficulty.

Cleared 7/7 normal twice and Heroic into two bosses, Nythendra and Renferal. I do not run with a guild, and I usually run with one friend. He's a decent Elemental Shaman, even though Shamans suck.

I'm an 862 Death Knight Tank. I feel incredibly squishy in heroic raids and unkillable in almost every 5man no matter how high the mythic numbers get. Some balancing issues appear to exist regarding this.

My next artifact upgrade takes 130K power. My biggest source is from Mythic +2 spams where 3 chests at this point is exactly 4.5k per. The grind is real.

I've almost eclipsed any pragmatic need for world quests, except caches for rep and the occasional order resource dump.

My best stat is my second highest gear-wise, my second-best is my first. Could be worse, but it's like 2 over 1 right now, 9K to 4.5K Crit over Haste. Crit isn't useless for me, but I could really use some god damned haste. Resource starvation is I think the main reason Main-Tanking in Heroic Raids right now is so painful.

All in all, I've never played this intensely so constantly than in this expansion right now. I feel like Blizzard will fuck up some content patches with content droughts, but I think they hit a hail mary with this Mythic+ shit. Players are pretty much making their own content at this point. Right now Blizzard is the only thing standing in its own way, if they can keep this shit going, this expansion will be great.

The class-based story is fantastic too. As autistic as it sounds, I like my character being important in a way that not EVERY other character gets to be. However this makes me sad because I know that Blizzard's ineptitude will make it so they will never continue on it.

We are the worst tank for things that matter, that being Mythic and Heroic Raiding. We're fine in 5 Mans, but we suffer from massive resource starvation, and I'm fucking convinced that our mastery is only like half as strong as it should be when it factors healing from 11+ HP% death strikes, and keeps applying Blood Shield as if it was still just 10%.

But that's just me. Warriors are the best tank in the game right now, and there's rarely any reason to take along any other classes at the moment.

Come the tuesday reset their Ignore Pain is being nerfed by about 33% high and 11% low, but that's just a nerf. I would be more comfortable if Blizzard touched up the other tanks to not get completely shattered by Raid Bosses.

The world firsts (and most people still clearing) of Xavius Mythic are still stacking double Prot Warrior.

I'm going to attempt to avoid the Cred Forums side of me and try to help. Honestly, a lot of people fall into this exact hole because everyone up top is trying to progress as fast as possible, so there's a small pocket of hot air that a lot of people get trapped in. At this point you have to bite the bullet and create groups of your own.

People deny you because you're 835, when they could get that swanky 855 who just queued up. Create your own group, they cannot see your item level. If you have a +2 stone from a single mythic, ask for a carry and make the requirement to join 855. You will get very high people to help you through an incredibly lucritive dungeon with an average of about 3 upgrades per run at low item levels.

I got to ilvl 852 on my rogue without doing a single mythic or normal raid.

Unholy DK here, that's just how it is...every expansion. Blizzard creates raids based around mages and ranged only. Melee are expected to compete against people that stand still 80% of the time, and can do more damage by default.

In WoD, most raid carries were done by stacking mages.

As a blood DK tank, I can assure you that it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Anti Magic Shell can deal with the damage, and Rune Weapon's parry can come into play when pulling multiple adds.

This week was VERY easy for +4-8 runs because Sanguine isn't shit. Bolstering was absolute cancer, but Necrotic doesn't seem too much worse. Seems harder than Sanguine, but easier than Bolstering.

As long as the second affix this week isn't going to be Bolstering, we should be fine.

Also side note, so long as this only affects healing, and not absorbs, things like tank trinkets and our mastery (Only applying shields based on the base healing, not modifiers for + or -) will be mostly unaffected.

As long as the stats are nice, I can see that being a good little quality of life booster in Mythic +'s. Maybe not raids, but in Mythics where you're constantly pulling shit, it can potentially allow you to use your wolves almost twice as often.

Blizz did substantially better from the beginning through Wrath (i.e. they used to have a much bigger MMO). Rather than turning it around, they are continuing down a path that values cheapness over quality (something they had until Wrath; although, in fairness, Wrath started showing some of the cheapness).

Every other expansion since has just been repeats of the past, or cruel jokes of new additions such as the Garrison and Pokemon mini-games.

It is nice in mythic+s yes but i'm mainly raiding, throughout all of heroic it only got some use on the spider and xavius. I would much perfer anything passive
