I've played virtually all of the perceived top RPGs (Baldur's Gate, Planescape, Arcandium, Ultima etc) and Mass Effect is still one of my favorite RPG franchises of all time.

I don't find storydriven games entertaining anymore even though I write them. I mostly just sit on my computer and play CSGO when I'm not working.

Not really an unpopular opinion though. The production quality and setting alone make it not too controversial seeing as it really did set the standard at the time for RPGs with voiced protags and that's not even going into the criminally underused Sci Fi setting.

Too bad that Bioware went to shit and I have virtually no optimism for Andromeda even if I will end up pirating eventually

I have a PS3 and a 360 and wouldn't consider myself a casual but otherwise I know that feel. I really wish I had a PS4, maybe an Xbone, and definitely a gaming PC. Street Fighter V, for one thing. I really, really want to finally get into fighting games and SFV is the one that I really want. I've played it a bit with friends and loved what I've played of it. I wish I could finally buy it and a stick, put a lot of time into and start going to tournaments and such.

Yeah, it kinda sucks for us. I mostly get by, by digging into my backlog and going back to my older games and finally doing the challenges and difficulties that I've always meant to do.

Most people I talk to IRL either aren't into vidya or are casuals anyway so it's pretty w/e when it comes to real life. The only other thing is that I'm pretty sure most people just have different tastes in vidya than me anyway.
