Chrono Phantasma Extend also includes a story section starring Mai that takes place between chapters 4 and 5 of the Remix Heart manga. Also she will be playing a role in the story of Central Fiction.

But to understand Mai's story what you mainly need is her manga: The games will give you a lot of background information on the setting and other characters that appear in her manga though, so it might be a good idea to play Continuum Shift Extend first.

They are. CT, CSE, CPE, and CF are the ones you'll have to play to get the entire mainline story. Use a guide for CT though because you'll be lost as fuck on how to actually clear it otherwise.
