What controller do you use for emulation?

x360

The D-Pad is shitty, user. You can't use it to play 2D games.

Depends on what I'm emulating. Recently I've found that the Wii U Pro Controller is pretty good for PS and most Nintendo consoles. The lack of analog triggers can hinder some games that use it though, especially some PS2 and most recent racers.

Anyways, I mostly play on my consoles.

I know. You only asked what I use.
Anyway, I mostly use 3DS and PSP for 2D emulation nowadays.

nice mouse pad m8

>SNES gamepad
>8bit

My PS3 controller.

Dualshock 4

Same color as pic related

The Super Nintendo is just like the PS4 Pro version of the NES anyway. It upscales to 16-bit through checkerboard technique

Keyboard.

get Logitech F310 then.

F310
HRAP EX

"no dual analog shock sticks"

nope.

...

megadrive and snes pad with usb adapter and xbox controller

Pic related for SNES/NES/GBA. PS4 pad for everything else.

ps3 controller,

have it connected to my 3ds too

>""emulation""
lol enjoy your laags.

Use the analog you puff

kys reddit

>train to work
>pull out your 3DS
>rest it on your knees
>pull out your PS3 controller
W E W

PS4.

I use this with my phone. The D-Pad is quite stiff, but works well enough.

Steam controller or Dual Shock 3/4.

k? i can conect any controller, its best for smash and for taiko, which is awful to play with the 3ds

desu

>not using an authentic arcade stick

Triggers are a bit hard, but it's actually pretty good.

The Classic Controller Pro is objectively the best controller ever made.

3D was a mistake

The competition must be poor if it's losing against a controller that needs to be tethered to a wiimote to function.

8bitdo is the name of the company you retard. They do NES, N64, and other controllers too.

Is that Yamcha collapsed in the same position as when he died to the cybermen?

That is the only drawback, and an adapter to PC solves that issue anyways.

Did the PS2 have analog triggers? I thought it only had analog buttons.

...That'd make it worse. That fucking controller has like a 2 foot cord.

...

It works for me. I prefer it to DS3 and X360 controller.

>Is that Yamcha collapsed in the same position as when he died to the saibamen?
Yes

This is what I use, except I use a 360 pad for my other shit.

The D-pad Is objectively inferior to keyboard directional keys,it's not awful, plus you can play leaned back.

Leaned back cave story with an SNES controller is comfy as fuck and to the literal sense.

Depends on what I'm emulating.
N64 and GC, 360 controller
PlayStation 1 and 2, PS3 or PS4 controller
Everything else with this

I have the same one as well

good taste user

>Le MSI gaming controller

actually its PDP

sooo... reality? reality is a mistake...

Now you're catching on

I use the original controller of the console I'm emulating. Getting adapters for them is easy and cheap as fuck and you already have all the controllers since your childhood.

ordinary PS1 SCPH-1080 plugged in via one of those shit nameless clear blue two port PS2->USB converters
my converter is more tape than plastic at this point

if I need sticks, I've got a DualShock

I bought one of these just to see what it's like.
It's actually quite nice.

>Buffalo and 8Bitdo will never make a saturn controller like this

>share button
This always brightens my day

I own a USB version of the controller on all the emulators I use apart from Dreamcast or the handhelds. For MAME or any fighting game I use a Madcatz TE2.
