I remember this mission being really hard. I went back and replayed it and it was extremely easy.

RPG RPG

best helicopter game ever made

>the sound of that .50 BMG in the distance

RPG ON THE ROOFTOPS

Delta Force games were the only alternative to the shitty fucking maymay engine that is ArmA and now it's dead

>playing with crosshair on
unacceptable, especially on fiddy

>hear RPG hitting nearby
>didn't see it launched
>can't find smoke trail

>he didn't experience the joint ops mini revival on 8/v/

That was some of the most fun I've had in vidya.

...

i only ever played BHD and TS

what was joint ops like?

>play it years later
>notice it has bullet delay and drop
I think OFP was the only other game at the time that had it

damn user you giving me some hardcore nostalgia

>tfw when Land Warrior is the best in the series but everyone knows it only by Black Hawk Down

>LW is the best in the series
Finaly, a man of taste

>map that doesnt have a barrier around it
>start of a round
>snipers run for the hills
>snipers had elevation adjustments
>tfw all those 20 point kill bonuses

how is it that newer games didnt have elevation adjustments but a game as old as that did?

>be medic
>be fast
>equip knife
>GOTTA GO FAST
>knife entire enemy team when they are clustered

This is how you should do ironsights.

A clusterfuck, but a fun one.

dsds

The player made maps for multiplayer in this game were GREAT

>impossible pathways suspended in the air with huge drops either side
>both teams rushing at each other with M60s
>medics going FAST out into cluster fucks to revive anyone that hasn't been headshot

I loved the pea soup fog maps or the ones were every wall was made up of ladders

Which reminds me that modern multiplayer will always feel shallow and dead because of no community tools. Even from CS:S to CS:GO you can see a clear decline in community content since Valve figured out paying for skins (which used to be completely free and much better looking back in the day) and matchmaking with official maps is more profitable.

of everything you could've linked, you pick this one... my fucking nigga

>hearing that TAK TAK TAK TAK TAK in the distance

>tunnel maps

>remember delta force xtreme being kinda fun
>buy it
>its bad

also anyone else notice the death cries in steam black hawk down were changed?

I still have my black hawk down CDs. Which reminds me that the first time me and my bro bought it, it didn't come with a CD key because people were opening up boxes and stealing them.

>football stadium is a part of the map
>hiding in one of those white tower things

i always bootlegged it back in the day and there was some site i used to bypass that

didnt even need to login in those days

>OPERATION IRENE IS A GO

I remember not having a good enough video card to run this properly

Crazy

i played MP one this year and there was still 1 or 2 servers alive

now its ded i assume

i cant deal with the 10hz tic rate anymore

i remember when the game first came out no one spammed grenade launchers and when i came back to it a while later it was non stop

>Poke around a corner for a second
>Dirty third worlder scumbag makes the impossible shot and domes you

>He doesn't still play it with Serious Saturdays

Tunnel/chokepoint maps where the most fun. Running around at the speed of sanic knifing fags or tossing grenades on campers was hilarious, as other guys run around ramboing M60s, FN MAGs and pumping M203 rounds all over.

god i loved this game, i wish the novalogic multiplayer servers were still active

This and enemy territory were literally my teenage years
