I try to Keep my mod list and their requirements a minimum. It starts getting to the point where my game CTD 15-30 min after launch SKSE. Too many animation perhaps.

I can understand making things a bit darker so you need torches/candlelight at night. But so many mods just make the game unplayable at night.

I achieved the same thing through ENB, which allows you to modify the brightness of exteriors, interiors, day and night separately.

Skyrim Redone. It is THE BEST mod for Skyrim but some of it's Modules now have netter alternatives (the main one is still gold though)

Instead of SkyRe_Combat use Vigor (it's like SkyRe_Combat 2.0) speaking of Combat Mods they are made to be compatible with each other so you can stack Ultimate Combat, Revenge of the enemies and Combat Evolved on there (The last two also act as replacements for SkyRe_Enemies)

I'd like to add that While SkyRe is the best all around overhaul with the best perk trees if you want to play a Pure Mage. Ordinator is the best MAGIC mod forSkyrim with the best perk trees for magic schools but again it's out paced in the Warrior and Thief trees by SkyRe.

The only body mods I've ever used were WISCO and CHSBHC

It's more like the author felt that SkyRe was complete and it's own thing and he wanted to use all the other Perk Ideas he had somewhere else. SkyRe_Main is and I will continue to say this THE BEST mod for Skyrim and has the best Theif and Warrior Perk Trees every other Perk mod just has inferior versions of what it does including PerMa it's Mage Perk Tree is outdone by Ordinator (which itself has an inferior copy called Path of Sorcery) although some might disagree with me because I'm an Immersion autist and things like making Dwemer Sentry Turets with Simithing (PerMa) or having an MMO style Banner spawn for a Heavy Armor Skill (Ordinator) makes me instant drop. Ofcourse I forgot to mention that Skyre_Main also changes the Daedric artifacts to actually be fearsome weapons and was the only mod that did so until ZIM. and that's not even getting into the modules but as I've explained they've been outpaced (except Standing Stones that sucked from the start and was worse than Vanilla)

SkyUI and Ordinator are big ones for me. I also use the race one by the same guy that did ordinator to make each new character feel even more distinct but I can't recall the name right now. Also better vampires and moonlight tales if planning to play a vampire or a werewolf. Alternate start can also be nice.

What mods do I need to get unpb body with breast physics for armor and nude bodies? I have hdt physics and the boob/butt physics mods, I have the xm32 skeleton mod, unpb obviously as well and unp for npc females. The only armor I have that has physics is shredded triss armor, but it would be great if other armor + bodies had it. I've tried using bodyslide and changing the body type there, but no files get output to my output directory.

Roleplay. Have just the right amount of relevant sex mods for the kind of playthrough you're doing. Decide how and when your character is most vulnerable and just install mods beside around that. If your character is a small mage that's easily taken by force then have mods like Horrible Harassment where they're easily overcome at night. If they're a fighter then I just do a lot of combat based sex mods. To be honest thought I'll just turn them off whenever I'm not in the mood.

Ultimate Combat is a must have for me. I don't like the dodging personally. You should no that no mod will make combat fun. They just really make it less boring and tolerable. You'll be able to cheese it no matter what. I recommend Vigor for injuries though. It makes you care a lot more about not getting hit.

Yes, The dodging could be better, but it makes blocking and avoiding hits worth it alone.

I don't do combat mods at all personally. Since I play as a mage, all I do is look at mods that add more enemies to fight (more guards, OBIS) and gimmicky spells (there's thousands of collections of those. Find whichever ones suit your tastes).

It all depends on what combat you're actually after in skyrim.

Actually, it will! They're also on by default if you have creature stuff enabled in SexLab already. You can even specify which races you can and can't be knocked down by, so if you don't wanna get knotted by tigers constantly, you can disable them specifically and any other races you want so that only specific types, such as only dogs and horses in your case, can dick you.

Find Racemenu 2.0 and Enhanced Character Edit presets, and then load them and tweak them to your liking from there. What takes like 50 hours of furious masturbation and working takes maybe 5-10 minutes. It's really, really easy.

Because you're lazy and can't use something simple like mod organiser. Sometimes mods can be a pain, but 95% of the time it's just download, click to install, check a box, verify it works. The active process that you as a user needs to actually do things is probably 10 seconds per mod, after you find one you want to install

See whenever I try this shit the game finds a way to crash, I figure out the problem mod and remove it, I play the game fine, then reach some area that is apparently broken by some mod or another and crash again. I use mod organizer and LOOT to make sure all my shit is in the proper order too.

In terms of looks or changing their behavior? I'm a fan of the temptress race mod which adds 5 females of the race, adds it to your selectable races on the race menu, and adds their armor. The great thing is it's all included so you don't need to use unp body type if you don't want to. Otherwise the follower overhaul is probably a must

UFO is an outdated piece of trash. Everything it does EFF does better.

EFF does let you teach NPC's spells and lets you unteach them as well. Although a good/bad thing is it gives every companion a 100% chameleon spell that they use when you sneak and you can't turn off.

I have over 600 mods installed, currently over half of which are enabled in my main save. I uninstalled about 200 a few weeks ago to save some space. My game doesn't crash and runs decent for what I have, but it took years of modding to figure out how to be safe with modding so the game doesn't shit itself.

I think I've tried damn near every mod that's worth a shit, every time I go looking for new mods I usually can't find anything that hasn't been done before. I also think I have tried almost every mod on loverslab, but I usually uninstall those because they're often shit

Anyway, a few tips

>most of the good mods are popular and easy to find on the nexus, however, some exceptions to this is waifu mods (skin textures and such), ENBs and sex mods, the good ones are usually newer and more obscure for some reason.

Ah, thanks. Also, picking an ENB that I like is hard. I have no idea how to configure the ENB stuff on my own and I'll likely screw something up, and half the time when I do install a pre-set I can't even tell a difference anyways.

Check out tesgeneral.com/enb if you haven't already. Also, the majority of people don't make tweaks to their enbs, usually only minor tweaks like brightness. Stay away from normie shit like realvision, it sucks ass

There is no one pack that covers everything. Just some packages which lay the foundations and smaller specialty jobs that goes over top. Install everything on this page apart from the stuff that's listed as being directly in conflict with each other:

The big mods are all at the top but they mostly cover basic terrain/architecture/large clutter. A lot of the smaller clutter items look trivial but if you play long enough the default textures will start to piss you off in contrast to everything else. It helps to use Mod Organizer so you can look at conflicts and see which packages are filling in gaps or overwriting each other. After that, go down to the texture authors section midway down and look through the profiles listed. Gamwich, Kajuan and Pfuscher do most of the best work.

K, if you insist on a realistic look then go ahead, just be careful with combining weather mods with enbs, the have to be compatible with each other otherwise the color will be fucked up, some popular enbs have compatibility patches for shit like CoT, but if an enb doesn't say it's compatible with a weather mod you're going to use, you're likely either going to get a picture that doesn't look like the enb is supposed to, or the enb won't work at all under some weather conditions

mod conflicts or simply bad mods can be the cause, as well as memory errors causing the game to CTD.
Now you'll have to figure out which mod is pushing the game over the edge, normally the more "out there" mods are at fault.

No problem, by the way the biggest cause of crashes are low memory problems and fucked up scripts, look up "load game CTD fix", "skse memory patch", "crash fixes", "Skyrim save game cleaner' and as many other patches as needed. Good luck!

There are plenty of guides. Basically, if you want to use it as a mod organiser you just check boxes for mods you want. If you want to use bashed patches you right click the "bashed patch" and click "rebuild patch". Look through all the sections, change variables if you want, then click build. After it's done make sure the mods that were affected are turned off (but not deleted) and then make sure the patch is checked and at the bottom of your load order

I am playing a modpack that makes Skyrim some sort of rougelike.

So far my most lived character has been a begger that found some clothes on some random ass altar in the cold mountains, went to town, checked the prices and went to other town to check prices and see that i could buy a fuck ton of wine in one town that had a dock and sell it for 100 gold profit at another random ass village.

After that i bought a farm, repair it, hired redguards to do my crops, profit from crops, get livestock and get a horse with bags to keep going around towns checking for the best prices to sell my shit and buy shit while hiring a lot of mercenaries to save my ass since they die a lot and i cant fight for shit.

So far this has been the most fun i had in Skyrim for years, i am in the process of buying property to rent it and get more dosh while i train some skills.

Other characters died way too quickly since i was shit at combat.

Becuase I learned how to manage the install order of all my mods I know what mods overwrite each other. I don’t need MO anymore becuase I know how my mods have to be installed.
I learned how to manage files with MO when I was learning how mod my game but now I only use NMM becuase I don’t need MO safety anymore.

How do you make the economy harsh enough to be able to do this? I have Hunterborn/Camfires/etc but I almost never use them because even in the beginning dungeon diving is more more profitable.

I dont even know nigga, the modpack has like 300 mods, but some of them touch the economy to be dynamic depending on where the town is, what is surrounded by it and if it can be attacked by bandits or shit like that.

Since i am playing with the Dead is Dead mod, dungeon diving is hard as fuck since you can get killed by even wolves at level 1 and you need to prepare before going into dungeons, so most of the gold at the start is just you fucking around taking bounties.

For example i was chilling in the marketplace from my market stand (think about a rug with a chair and in the rug you have bloodied shields i found from a fight between Stormcloaks and the Empire) and then i saw a mercenary go up to a noticeboard, look at it and took something from it and started running, i followed him, asked him what was he doing and he said he wanted to do a quest in some random cave, i went with him since he had a big sword, so we traveled, reached that place and it had some bandits, tried to fight them and i got outflanked and killed while he was running for his life.

Its Requiem, Ultimate Combat and Wildcat with TK dodge and other thing that makes combat way more solid, also morrowloot and other shit that makes places level locked instead of scaling.

I made a few tweaks here and there to make the game more enjoyable like adding those combat mods, however the main thing about this modpack is that it runs great, it looks great and you have 0 incompatibilities since the patch of the mod makes everything work together, you can tune it in whatever way you want except for the essentials mods.

What you did sounds awesome though. I would love to start a Skyrim game where you start off as a begger, then get skill points to increase one of multiple trees, then buy a farm/house/etc. and eventually become royalty, but with the caveat that it's a rogue like.

Get an ENB, a weather mod, and a texture pack and you're set.

When i tried i was using a new tool released for Skyrim (that also works in Fallput) that merges the stuff without too many manual inputs, it just tells you if there are errors that impede the mods from merging if they are too severe if not it does all the heavy handling for you.

I might check it out again, the problem is that when i tried to do one of these lists i realized it added a lot of stuff that i didn't like or it was missing stuff i like.

Only stuff with a * is essential to add in the mod and out of the 300 mods there is like at most 30 with *, then if you miss some stuff you can see if its compatible or not.

For example i fucking missed the Immersive Citizens mod because it made the world really feel alive with people going to rivers to get water, some others go fishing, others go to the tavern or have affairs and the modpack didnt have it, so i just download it, put it in there and tweak it a bit and it worked, same goes to Ultimate Combat and Wildcat with TKDodge, you just need to play it a bit smart with those things and they will work with the modpack.

I love the shit out of World's Dawn because it makes loot fun and worthwhile again. Shit's like Diablo but you're right in that it will eventually break the game in that some of the random legendaries enchants are really strong and you can upgrade them daily as long as you have the mats. You need Revenge of the Enemies or Requiem to balance out the boosts and some self-restraint in not selling the enchanted drops for decent money.

How to play Skyrim and not get bored?

I tried boost enemy difficulty with mods earlier, but in the end it just force me to munchking even earlier an thus becoming OP faster killing interest in the game.

Installing Skyrim again now and feel that if i not put a lot of self restrictions, it'll get boring just as fast.

Thinking of:
not modifying carry weight/no items to increase it
no savescumming on steaming/criminal offences. If caught/get to prison.
no alchemy/enchanting/smithing - only using weapons found in the world. However this is questinable, as those were one of the most fun mechanics in Skyrim to begin with.
no fast travel
set and furnish house in every city

Anything else i am missing? Basically seems the only way to properly enjoy Skyrim is to "force" oneself to RP it otherwise it soon becomes too trivial

Very few, edging on the other HAND...Ever been hard for 6 hours straight? It will fry your brain in the long run but everyone should try at least once.

make a flawed character that isn't focused solely on the thief-fighter-mage skill trees. Have a fighter that can use alteration maging, a thief that can stab people with a fuckhuge axe, or a wizard that likes to fire arrows when out of mana. It won't be effective in the long run, but you can switch up styles instead of being forever locked.
