Why contain it?

Be wary of footsteps. 173 and Larry have sifferent movement noises than Humans. The Doctor has the same noise as them, however he can only walk.
Don't close doors to escape 173, all it does is let him move freely on the other side.
Scattering has its benefits, but when not in immediate danger try to stay with others.
914 can be both a blessing and a trap. 173 and the Doctor can effectively camp it out due to their being only one entrance, and Larry disregards doors anyway.
If Larry catches you, try to drop an item on the path you go down, that way if you don't die then others that get caught know the way out.
106 can be killed two different ways, one the traditional way, ane the other using the Femur Breaker in his containment area. Using the Femur Breaker requires a high class security card as well as one player to make a sacrifice.
If MTF or CI, try to avoid fighting in narrow hallways to avoid friendly fire.
Larry has access to portals by way of the Tab menu. Seeing a black puddle on the ground denotes where he left his portal. It helps to know where it's at.
It's often better to run and gun than to stand and fight.
Don't use the two extreme settings on 914. They have the possibility of breaking the cards.

Lore Wise: Some D-Class is hooked up to a machine that breaks their femur and their screams of pain are broadcasted all over the facility which lures 106 back to his containment cell.
Game wise: With a high enough keycard, you open the room to 106’s containment and one person has to sacrifice themselves while another presses a button to activate the femur breaker. After a few seconds the person playing 106 automatically starts sinking into the floor and dies
