This is one game that I keep coming back to. Played the demo for the first time when I was 6. Must've played through the final level of the learning campaign a hundred times. Got the demo of conquerors next year and played through that many times too.

Were there ever any mods that fixed the damage output? By level 20 or so, your damage capped out but NPCs still keep getting stronger. Eventually it takes 20 hits from an enchanted Daedric claymore to kill anything.

Eh, I like the faster connection speeds. Around 2010 was pretty good from the way it felt, not everyone was an uptight cunt about everything. I don't really remember much from before that. Not because I was so young then, but because nothing stands out to me.

I once managed to get the ball stuck bouncing inbetween two of the 3 round things at the top and it must have done it for about an hour before somehow falling out when I wasn't at the computer. I wish I'd have got a photo or something of the score it ended up having but this was back when I was a kid and nobody had cameras on their phones.

First PC game I think I ever played was either this demo of Fury 3 or Half-Life after I watched my dad play it.

Oh shit nigga I found it, it was Golden Axe. I used to play as the grill I think and argue with my brother about who got to ride the dragons. Shinobi was bretty gud too, I just remembered that one.

I don't remember ever finishing a game on a console as a kid, though. I think Goldeneye may have been the only one I can confidently say I completed. Even when I fell in love with Ocarina of Time I never actually managed to get to the end for years. Weird how games used to be more arcade and drop-in-drop-out.
