There's such a thing as too much fanservice and this barrels past that point to the point where it's not tasteful

Wartech, Gundam VS, and Virtual on whatever all have similar arcade versus gameplay.

Armored Core, Carnage Heart, and Front Misssion all have competent stories and customization autism.

Nothing quite like custom robo, it’s like some sort of mix of some of those.

Good to play with a m8. Basically a 2D virtual on, easier to understand with bullet hell dodging/attacks. Singleplayer is nonexistent, it’s just an arcade mode where you fight every other character with the one you chose. But definately worth picking out of the bargain bins they’re currently all sitting in, I grabbed mine for 5 bucks

I guess I just don't get the anime. I liked Kill la Kill because it was flashy, funny (at least for the most part), it had lots of fanservice but it wasn't out of place. I know it's a pleb show, whatever, I'm pretty pleb myself. I liked LWA because it was ~comfy~ even though the series were worse than OVAs. Luluco was funny. This show though, I just don't get it.

You might like "hot blooded" mecha shows, where the MC has balls.

I didn't like TTGL and I really liked NGE, so not really.

Not really sure what direction this is going yet. It’s got some cool trigger fight scenes now, but they’re also referencing Eva heavily, especially in the latest episode, so I’m just interested to see what kind of twist they try to go for.

It also has the dub and plot of a bad saturday morning cartoon that's so fucking hammy it's terrigood.

I think wartech was only in arcades and on 360, but your guess is as good as mine. There were quite a few versions in the arcades, maybe one of them had a jap pc release. Didn’t even know there were sequels though, even a touhou spinoff, both released last year on pc and psn.
