PRAISE LORD TATSUMI

He hasnt done shit. Switch was Iwatas idea. He will have to prove himself with the next system.

Buddy he's marketing the damn thing.

oh yeah because it absolutely wasnt evident that nintendo would market their next system after the WiiUs disastrous advertising.

*kills your company*

Why this nigga look like a Persona villain

Is that CGI?

why this nigga look like he finna drop the hottest exclusives of 2018?

That my friend is Tatsumi MOTHERFUCKING Kimishima. 2nd and 5th President of Nintendo, Japanese businessman, and former chief financial officer of the Pokémon Company.

The guy from that NTR doujin?

Well he IS planning to cuck Kaz from filling his pockets.

*jews the customer because he knows he can get away with it because nintenbros are retarded*

why do you sound like a retarded baboon?

:^)

>completely turn over nintendo's image by putting an end to Iwata's toddler advertising
>completely ruin it with Labo

Nigger have you even seen the preorders

Don Mattrick looks like a discounts Tom Cruise

don't mean shit WiiU sold a fuck ton at launch

This, he's basically a lucky motherfucker. The terrible decisions he's made haven't been able to hex the bounty of inheriting the reins of a system blessed with both a new Zelda and Mario within seven months. If he tried introducing $80 docks, mobileshit and paid online without other peoples' gifts supporting him, he'd already be branded a failure. He'd better stay lucky, because he's certainly not good at his job.

Trust me. Nintendo is in good hands. Tatsumi is VERY experienced when it comes to video game businesses.

The saving grace is at least that if labo fails, which it hopefully and probably will, it probably didn't cost a crapton to R&D simple games that use cardboard controllers. Stock will take a hit but it won't have much impact overall.

The difference here is that Labo is marketed towards actual children. Earlier Nintendo would market any and all games for actual children towards all ages

But was it Iwata's idea to give Koizumi Miyamoto's old job and just let Miyamoto be a guy who roams around giving random tips to younger crew?

I would say that Iwata recognized the wrong moves they were making and started them on the right path, but Kimishima is a true businessman and was even the head of NoA before Reggie took over so a lot of the stuff since them has been all him. Like the marketing and scheduling for the game releases is perfect.

It's funny because this is why you don't judge a book by its cover.

Tatsumi looks like strict taisho for Japanese Steel Firm, yet he probably the best Video Game CEO out there period filled with Western Yuppie Numale CEOs.

*sells your company out*

>being this delusional

Iwata did great too. Nintendo was for sure going to be hit by the move to HD just as hard as the r est of Japan but at least Iwata held it off for a little while and in the mean time had Nintendo's greatest selling handheld and console in the same generation.

Could you imagine if Iwata had forced HD for the Wii? A Wii U sized failure directly after the GC might have actually knocked them out of the console market.

name 1 time Iwata's done advertising like Kimishima in the past

youtube.com/watch?v=-tNE5dQ3LLA

how is this not toddler tier?

being this stupid

you really swayed my opinion with that in depth analysis

Do you think that the CEO personally creates the advertisements for the company's products or something?

no, but he's in charge of the general direction of the company as a whole

The Wii advertising was fucking surreal.
DS too.

Man people are quick to forget Nintendos greatest successes that happened thanks to Iwata.

I guess he was just getting rusty then.

The WiiU and 3DS were both fuckups because he bet on the name of the previous systems carrying the next ones like with the NES->SNES back then.

That 100% backfired, people thought they were just addons or slightly enhanced versions.
