It really makes you think

it really makes you think.

redpill me on this

The US network cost is such a joke
£20 / month gets me true unlim 4G in the UK

no one cares

fucking kek

$160 for 20 GB? ayy lmao

>$160

>After the first 20gb you're throttled to unusable speeds

>Truly unlimited

JUST

>20GB
>Limitless data

wat?

I'm in fucking Poland and it costs even less than that.

yep. unfortunately everything except data plans and healthcare is way cheaper in the US.

Im in USA, have T-Mobile, have an unlimited plan, and only pay $70 a month. They reserve the right to throttle to 2G past 21GB if its a high use time. In practice, even when going well past 21GB, I do not usually get throttled

Im grandfathered in though, this plan would cost I think $90 a month now.

Fuck verizon, they are against freedom

It's limitless untill you hit the 20gb cap :^)

Clapistania is such a shithole.

You could buy truly unlimited data 2.5 times here with that kind of money.

Hey Rob

Tfw when 30€/mo for 150/50 unlimited.
What happened in murica, arent they supposed to be the world leaders in everything?

:^)

why does your carrier offer apples

We have cities with more people than some Euro countries.

We have states with more land mass than several Euro countries put together.

It's not the same thing.

Appels. Might be a Chinese ripoff.

>be on 3 (UK network)
>pay £23 a month
>get unlimited 4G LTE data (as in, no throttling, no caps, nothing)
>can use this for free in 18 other countries, no roaming charges or anything
>can use this as a wifi hotspot in the uk for free so I basically have internet for my phone and laptop wherever i go

and that's not even the cheapest unlimited plan here. clapitards btfo
>inb4 "but we're such a big country user i LIKE paying 200 dollars a month for 5gb capped data!"

Why wouldn't it be? You even got massive population density so covering it with physical lines should be very profitable. In finland the density is one of the lowest and speeds still highest everywhere you go

>20GB
>limitless

Which is it?

Evil wordplay. They are not limiting your connection for the first 20GB of it.

>20GB
>limitless

>be Canadian
>$70 for 1gb of data
This is considered good

This is a joke right? Even in my 3rd world shithole it's not that expensive

>20GB of limitless data
I keep hearing this marketing line. It's pretty insulting to the consumer. Almost like they're saying "hey, they're such dumbfucks, that if we put the word limitless next to the actual cap limit, they'll think it's actually limitless"

I'm paying 140ish on T-Mobile for 2 lines, unlimited data+14gb tethering for each line.

>tfw this is the one and only unlimited plan you can get in Germany
we're truly the most cucked European country

>14gb of tethering
Kind of a dick move. And how exactly are they measuring this? Locked phone software? Deep packet analyzing? Header inspection? What about TLS? Data is data, its not different no matter where it comes from.

Lol 7€ here

Eh I have four people on my T-Mobile for $140-something after tax, I think the base price is $120, but that's only like 6GB. But now they have rollover data up to 20GB so that's kind of nice I guess.

If you don't own your phone, you not living right.

Screenshot or GTFO.

What kind 3rd world is?

I don't understand what your point is

>don't get limited by an unlimited plan

Don't get throttled because we don't want to provide you a better infrastructure.

For what it's worth though, the mobile internet here is much faster than most. That being said, this is the plan you get with a 2 contract with a phone worse than the redmeme 3

eewwwww

Is their marketing team high?

Hong Kong.
The politics and wages here are literally worse than third world countries.
That fucking Chinese controlled government is doing anything possible to destroy Hong Kong.

Its that the person made it out like its good, when in reality it is an artificial limit to your use to get to you pay more money and inconvenience. In truth "tethered data" is just the same data.

>like its good
More like acceptable or neutral, in reality very shitty. Good thing bypassing it isnt really difficult.

enjoy getting jail time for having a spoon on you, faggot.

Oh damn its true.

Germany sucks in technology

>20GB
>limitless
Yikes, I can barely get by with 200GB

American are really getting scammed with these prices. I pay about 10$ a month for unlimited talk and text and 3GB of data. I could get more data for not a lot more but I don't need it.

>yfw 32gb fucking flash drive/sdcard is now cheaper than internet per month

people who use less than about 12 gigs a month will end up paying more than if they had just had a smaller, capped plan

I would assume there are more towers in the US, just due to it's geographic size.
So an increase in price is fine.
But £20 in the UK to $160 in the US is a bit much.

This is literally bullshit.
20GB of mobile data is probably about £40 a month.

Because those countries are fucking tiny and the cost of the infrastructure is a joke. Of course they can afford to give you coverage in the whole small shithole for peanuts, but in actually big countries there are cities with the population of your countries.
