Android Rice Thread

Discuss you're preferred applications, icon packs, themes, launchers, ROMS etc.

Cyanogenmod is a must have for me, let's me get rid of all the google crap I don't need.

Can we post homescreens here?

This isn't a homescreen thread.

I recently compiled clover for android, but I think I'll also root it later to remove google bloat because installing a nightly ROM every day seems boring a repetitive.

It is now

>ROM: crDroid
>Kernel: Lambda
>Launcher: Nova
>Icon pack: SMPL white
>Theme: Minimaterial
>Keyboard: Minuum
Now GR15 friendly.
>that pixelated WP
At least use waifu2x.

You people might know,
I have some reletivly light weight linux programs that I use/make/edit. Can I compile them to run on android without much hastle?

Lol i got one of those nvidia shields and it runs android, is there anything cool i could do with it?

did you get the classic shield or the shield tablet?

either way they both run android so the same ricing techniques and apps should run no problem

Is android N worth it ?
(i have a nexus 5)

what are you sacrificing by installing it?

Nothing really I can backup my data
I tried it but i didnt see any real difference
and I'm asking to see if there is some real differences between it and Marshmallow that i overlooked

Crap wrong one.

i wouldn't call it a huge update but heres the notable changes

>various security improvements
>support for vulkan graphics api
>native split screen multitasking, multitab viewing in chrome, drag and drop between windows/tabs
>system ui tuner
>button to close all apps
>better notifications system, quick reply to texts & emails etc
>adjustable quick settings
>cancel app installs during process

sounds nice will give it a try

if you've got nothing to lose you might as well keep it, i wish i had it

I'm sure this looks stupid to most of you, but whatever.

Does anyone know what the one clock widget that's the square at an angle is called? I know that's a vague description but yeah.

...

heavy inspo from wallpaper: PA 6 Wall
icons: fontawesome
stuff:
when touching hamburger menu, the music controls fadeout and 2 other icons fade in, one is to show my schedule and the other is for opening my gallery.

had one ages ago, was a great device if you didn't use it as a camera and if you had a power bank with you at all times.
