Modernization.
Be careful something might happen
All of your file and folder names will now be left-justified in File Explorer, rather than centred like they've been since 1995 or something.
Enjoy.

You may experience one or more of the following - or nothing if you're lucky:
>Possible Start menu crashes because fuck you
>Taskbar being shit
>Ongoing problems with graphics drivers
>Ongoing problems with various input devices
>Missing .dll files inexplicably
>Fuckups/freezing after waking the PC up
>Firefox might crash or fail to load
>Inability to download anything from the Windows Store
>File explorer looking like trash
>Lock screen issues and certain shit like the login screen disappearing
>There's a way to accidentally make a fake MS account become your login credentials - it's apparently a check box people are failing to see
>If you get Home, you have to go out of your way to disable updates
>Updates may still just install even if you tell them not to
>Latest updates this past week had a freezing problem, but there is a fix (kindof)
>The Catalog is retarded
>Updates fail to install repeatedly because why not
>People are still reporting inexplicable CPU usage spikes (up to 90% while idle)
>AU gave people Netflix, Farmville, Pandora and Candy Crush just because
>CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

10 + 10 = 20
I dunno works on my machine
Am I th e only person who hasn't gotten the Anniversary edition update yet?
Apparently it could take until November to fully roll it out.

I delayed getting it for a month because Microsoft completely broke their WSUS implementation. Like, system calls would crash after trying it level of breakage. Works fine now but how they managed to fuck up compatibility with another one of their Windows Server applications is beyond me.
Ironically the main reason I used WSUS was to prevent my Windows 7/8 systems getting shitty updates relating to "telemetry" and "Windows 10 upgrade compatibility".
>People are still reporting inexplicable CPU usage spikes (up to 90% while idle)
Fucking hell man. I repair computers for a living and I constantly get bombarded with people complaining about this shit. I have to tell them to either put up with it or if they're lucky I can do a fresh install of their factory OS if it wasn't 10.
The future because windows 10 + 0 is sooooo 2015.
anyone have the link for that privacy tool, can't remember that name atm

Have you heard of IT?
youde love it works great
if you got any name brand support/ drivers like beats from HP, expect it not to work
If you like frustrating menu placements and lag at random moments, then go ahead. Windows 10 boot time will take atleast a minute longer. =

install a gnu/linux distro, any gnu/linux distro, or stay at your current windows version and disable automatic updates or at a bare minimum disable recommended updates

Literally 100% accurate
I wish I could love Windows but even without the botnet it's still trash
Can't you read he's updating from Windows 10 staying at previous OS is redundant.
This has been going on for over 2 months I can't run more than one program at a time (including file explorer or task manager) or have the computer in use for over an hour without getting blue screen
Phone shitposts aside, Cred Forums is the Cred Forums of Windows 10.
